I'm wondering if this reviewer was actually at this place. Just shows how "not" with it Citysearch is. Everything here is BLUE (not tan, as the reviewer specified). Great place altogether. It's a tasty bit of SF nightlife on the weekdays...too many dumbasses on the weekends.

I'm always skeptical about the clubs on Broadway, but my friends and I were in the neighborhood and needed a drink. Went to Fuse (saturday night) and had a great time. The bartenders were really cool and the drinks were on the strong side. Awesome cucumber cosmo and something the bartender made but had no name. It was busy but not to slammed to get a drink fairly easy or shake it on the dance floor. Kick- ass deejays. Pretty good amount of good looking women that weren't too stuck-up to talk and dance with us. I'll definitely be going back!

Pros: great bartenders, strong drinks, cheap cover

Cons: hard to park

The atmosphere here is always super friendly, no matter the crowd. There's always someone to dance with. The bartenders are awesome! The normal doorman isn't too friendly, but went there last weekend and there was a new guy who was great! The drinks are always good, and the cover is cheap ($5). The music is always dance-able. Overall, my favorite place on Broadway.

Pros: Great Bartenders, Good Music, Friendly Crowd

I went to Fuse last Sunday night and again this Saturday night with my husband and we had a blast both times. The bartender on Sunday (and again on Saturday), Christian, was cool and made some of the best drinks I have ever had. The cucumber martini that the bartender recommended I try was excellent, and my husband had a caipirinha which was one of the best I've ever tasted in the US (by hubby is from Brazil, and he said the same). I highly recommend this bar: a very cool, mellow vibe on Sunday and very jumping on Saturday; excellent drinks; friendly staff; great music. A trendy, cool bar without the attitude. Highly recommended!

Pros: Friendly Staff, Excellent Drinks, Great Music

The wife and I were in SF this weekend. Bar hopped Saturday and Sunday. Stopped by Fuse on Sunday night. Not very busy, but we didn't care as the drinks were some of the best specialty martinis we've had. Didn't get the bartender's name, but he was very cool, and really knew how to mix a good martini. One with Mango was excellent. He made a great chocolate martini. His Metropolitan was incredible (great rasberry flavor). And there was a cucumber infused vodka martini on the menu which was out of this world. Never would have thought I'd like a drink with cucumber. Just don't try and eat the cucumber as it is soaked with alcohol (my wife found out the hardway). The decor and music were good, but not great. It's the drinks that make this place worth checking out.

Pros: great drinks, cool bartender, great drinks!!

Cons: seedy neighborhood

If a cramped, overpriced atmosphere with a pretentious staff is your cup of tea, then this is the place for you! After waiting 15 minutes for the bartender to get off his cell phone, I was able to order a beer and a well drink cocktail... only to get stuck with a $14 tab! It became difficult to question the price over the loud and obnoxious 90's ska music, so we slammed our drinks and got out of there never to return.

Cons: Rude Staff, Overpriced Drinks, Cramped

The crowd is horrible and the music is top 40 garbage. Strickly bridge and tunnel scene with guys in bowling shirts and girls in Forever 21. All this and a $5 cover on a wednesday while the bar is empty?

While I had been a regular of Fuse for many years, I must admit that I was a little cautious about the management change. I am glad to report that it I have been plesantly suprised by the changes. about half of the old bar staff remains and I was glad to see that the same bouncers were there. The bar seems alot cleaner than it did before. It no longer has that funky oder it once did. They seem to be doing some remodeling to provide more space as well. The drinks were great... strong but not overpowering. The staff is very friendly. I met the new manager, Tom, who was a blast to be around. I Highly recomend Fuse to anyone looking for a great night out on the town.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good Prices, Comfortable

Cons: , packed on the weekend

Looks like fuse is under new management and cost cutting is job number 1. The once famous drinks are now watered down and tired. The friendly bouncer and bar tenders are no more. This place lost all of its character, appeal and style.

Some friends & I, who rarely frequent the North Beach club/bar scene on a Friday night, decided to start off at Kell's (edge of North Beach/Financial District), bad idea. It was a frat party gone wrong: bad music, bad drinks, and fugly people/bouncers. Wanting to make good use of our sweet parking spot, we walked up to Broadway and decided to try FUSE, which we've been to a couple of times on more tame North Beach evenings. Thank God! The bouncer was friendly, there was no cover, the bartenders were friendly and made kick-ass cocktails, and the DJ spun real beats... this more than made up for the horrible experience at Kell's. This place is intimate and the dance floor is small, but by far keeps me coming back to North Beach, even with the horrible parking, on Friday nights.

Pros: Good/Strong Drinks, Friendly Bartenders, Great up & coming DJs

Cons: , Long wait for drinks
