If you go in to print a file on a disk/thumb drive it's gonna cost you $3.50 for one copy. I had to do it because I was in a time constraint, but I think that's a bit stiff for borrowning a cpu for 30 seconds to print a one page file. On my second visit, I needed to run some quick one offs. No one was around to help when I walked in. I had to go to the back to locate someone to show me how to run the machine. I had 50 cents in copies and the guy got mad at me because I paid him in pennies. He told me that he doesn't consider pennies to be currency. I agree that the penny is useless currency, but I'm willing to bet that this guy has given red cents out for change to his customers. Poor, embittered employee.

Pros: good staplers???

Cons: prices, customer service

We started using copynet to cut down printed inserts for our business. We would typically go in twice a week and have about $40 worth of cutting done. When we started doing this we recieved a quoted price which was then applied to all of our jobs. Over the past 3 months, the employees there were great at getting our jobs done, however, every time the owner was there and took our order she was rude, dismissive of our projects, and kept putting us off. I am not sure why she was so upset, mabee because she wanted us to do the printing with her as well. Anyway, two weeks ago we dropped off another job.............when the job was complete, the owner told us that the price for this service was now double what the originally agreed quote was, and that "IF WE DIDN'T LIKE IT, TO TAKE OUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!" Well obviously we took our business else where. This woman was rude, inconsiderate, and threw away about $2500 a year in repeat business. She is in a service business with a terrible attitude and little or no concern for her customers.

...about that woman's experience. I also live in the neighborhood and love to use Copynet. It is a blessing that the store is close-by and I don't have to go to Kinko's to get things done. They are a wonderful alternative to Kinko's. I had some party invitations done recently and all the people I dealt with were very pleasant and knowledgeable, they had my invites done ahead of schedule and they looked great. Most of the time I just go in to get a few copies made, and I always find the staff, chatty and in great spirits. I would highly recommend them!

Pros: very nice staff, excellent service, knowledge

Cons: parking is tough
