So here I was, left alone after my 2 co-workers with a combined 12 years of experience left for greener pastures. After recovering from the shell shock, I realized that I needed help and the quickest way to do that would be to contact a recruiter. After a few phone calls (some of which weren't returned!), I came upon Pegi at McCall. I have rarely worked with someone who loves what she does more than Pegi. She is the owner of McCall and treats you as if you are her only client. She provided us with plenty of candidates to choose from and we have been VERY happy with the results. She is incredibly enthusiastic and dedicated to your cause. Instead of inundating you with an abundance of some relevant and not-so-relevant resumes, she tries very hard to only introduce candidates that she feels will fit your position like a glove. While she is attentive and responsive, she is never pushy. She has an impressive satisfaction policy that we were able to experience first hand. Of all the recruiters I've ever worked with, I recommend McCall without reservation.

I came to McCall after reading some reviews of Yelp. I have been completely dazzled by their personal attention to detail. They completely revamped my resume, which was no small feat! I will always return to them for any future professional endeavors. Ask for Pegi or Sara!!!!

These people are great! I chose them after doing an agency search based upon Google & Citysearch reviews. They found our new Executive Assistant for our CEO. They were thorough and professional and delightful (fun!) to deal with. All of their referrals were excellent. We had a hard time making a final selection. In fact all of their candidates also had great things to say about their dealings with everyone at McCall. I recommend them to hiring managers.

I came across this company by accident. I was taking the train going to a job interview at the Palace Hotel. While reviewing my resume, the person sitting next to me started talking and inquiring what type of work I was looking for. He told me he landed his current job as a Finance Mgr through McCall. After the Palace interview, I walked a few blocks to McCall Staffing and filled out an application. I was kind of suprised because after filling out the application, they gave me some computer tests and interviewed me on the spot! The people there were so nice! They told me they would call me when something comes up. They called me later that afternoon asking I would like to take a temp position lasting 5 weeks. I took the job and I am still here.... 7 weeks later. I just wish I had the guys number who recommended this.

Pros: Got a job I like right away!

As soon as I started to respond to ads on Craigslist, I was immediately contacted by several staffing agencies - all of them being like used car salesman. I finally found McCall Staffing and it was an absolute pleasure working with them. Walking into their office was like a breath of fresh air. Everyone was so upbeat, friendly and just delightful to work with. McCall has an incredible selection of jobs and both Pegi and Laura find jobs that you will be a perfect fit for. Pegi found my dream job within one month. I am the happiest young lady in the world thanks to McCall Staffing!!!!

I have known about and used McCall Staffing Services since the 1980s. I recently returned to the Bay Area and this was the only agency I considered using to find a job. The staff are superb at what they do--match your skills and work requirements to an employer in need. They stay in touch almost daily, keep you apprised of all jobs that might be a really good match for you, do all the leg work on your behalf, and keep your morale up when things don't work out right away. I just got a dream job and would never have been able to find such a plum without McCall Staffing to back me up. This is, by far, the best, most courteous, welcoming, and supportive agency around town. They are really tops in professionalism and thoroughness. Check McCall's out; you won't be sorry.

I've worked with McCall Staffing many times over the years. They have always been thorough in their searches and were great about communicating with me before, during and after the job was done. I really enjoy working with them, and apparently so do their candidates. Their staff has high intergrity and are always honest about their ability to meet my demands...

This agency was the best thing to happen to me when I first moved out here. I sent them my application one afternoon and got a call back within minutes, literally. They scheduled me an appointment for the following day, and I had a job lined up the VERY NEXT DAY!! It all happened SO fast, it was amazing. They were so helpful, I didn't have to sign any contracts, it was like having a personal secretary do all the job searching for me. Within 2 weeks I was already offered a permanent position, and I had only worked at 2 different offices. They were very friendly, helpful, kept in good contact with me, and made sure I was getting everything I needed. They really helped my transition to a new area very smooth, and I owe them so much gratitude. I would recommend this agency over any other agency, by far. Give them a call! They'll help you in no time!

Pros: Building is easy to get to, staff is very friendly and helpful, placement is extremely effective.

The last year has been a roller coaster for me balancing school and a good paying job that would pay my bills. I decided to check out temp work. Over the summer, I went to various temp agencies around town, but had no luck. I wanted a job in my area of study: accounting, finance, investments, etc. These other temp agencies kept offering me sales/customer service jobs. I kept telling them I didn't want that type of work; especially @ the pay rates they were paying. I thought about giving up on temp agencies and taking a break from grad school this semester in order to land a good paying job. I came upon McCall when I was searching online and saw some really good reviews. I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did that! Those recruiters are so nice and caring! It was only 1 week (roughly) after my interview that I was offered an accounting job with one of their clients. I am so happy. It's flexible to a degree with my schooling. The pay is really good and better yet, the job is in downtown! Thanks McCall!!!!!

I have never used a temp agency before now. I was very suspicious about going through an agency. I made a call and scheduled an interview with the recruiter for the next day. I really took it with a grain of salt; not expecting too much from it. The moment I walked into their office, I felt really good about the whole inteview. Everybody at that company was so welcoming. I spoke with a really nice lady for about 20 minutes and then spoke to another very nice lady; whom I later realized was the owner. I couldn't believe how nice and helpful the owner was. She actually offered to edit my resume for me. When my resume was finished, it look impressive. She has a very cool way with words. Two days after my interview, I took a job they offered me; which lasted about 5 weeks and was then offered permanent employment with that company. Thanks McCall!!!!!

Pros: Extremely good management, very nice staff, & constant job offers
