I have grown up in this area my entire life "san mateo county" and I must say I feel this gym is the best gym out there because this gym caters to every kind of person. It has great selction of dumbells (goes up to 150 pounders with everything in between), two squat racks, various hammer strength machines, lots of ez bars, and practically every cardio and weight lifting machine one can need. Does it have as many fancy machines as equinox?no. Is it quite as hardcore as diesel in burlinggame?no. However, this gym provides a happy medium to everything to the hardcore weightlifter that wants to pump iron to his blasting ipod to the never been to a commercial gym before person that doesn't want to be judged by other gym members. This is not a pickup joint where women are harrassed by annoying justin timberlake wannabees nor is it a gym where annoying sales people push you to have personal trainers or sign "special" contracts. The gym membership is reasonable "32$ a month" and this gym has no initiation fee. It also has a great location with plenty of parking. I must say the musics pretty bad, but hey, nothing an ipod or a walkman can't change around. I reccomend this gym to anybody that wants to get a good workout, whether you'r a novice, intermediate, or advanced weightlifter or a person that just wants to do cardio.

this is a real nice place. it has a very nice atmosphere newly remodeled with lots of new equipment . it is the opposite of many places, there are no commisioned sales people, it is clean, they have people walking around cleaning at all hours of the day, it is not overcrowded and no muscleheads. the aerobics has lots of great instructors , my favorites are yoga and kickboxing. when stuff gets broken it is fixed almost immediatly , it is easily the nicest club on the peninsula ! the management is very professional and the employees and other members are very nice . the bathrooms are newly upgraded and always clean . I would recommend this club just as it was recommended to me, it is so nice and a very safe welcome atmosphere!
Pros: great equipment and atmosphere
Cons: sometimes you have to wait for a treadmill at peak times.
