I've been Sheila's client for over a year, and she has been a lifesaver. I suffer from a condition called trichotillomania (which results in my having lots of hair loss - imagine the shame and depression this causes in someone in her early 20s!), but Sheila has always found ways to make me pretty and let me lead a "normal" life with hair. It is sad for me to see a good person being attacked in this way, especially since she has really made an impact on my life. I got great service and great hair with Sheila's team. I have never felt more beautiful and more confident. The hair looks and feels natural and nobody knows its not real. I love it and plan on staying with Sheila and her team for years to come!!

I don't understand why the complaints about Sheila can be so nasty. She is honestly a caring person and wants the best results for her clients. I've been happy with all the work done on my hair and continue to be a satisfied client. I'm more confident now that I have better hair and that's thanks to Sheila and her team. So I fully support Sheila and hope she overcomes these false complaints being made.

I took the hair extention class at Goddess Hair Extentions and it was the best hair extension class I've ever taken hands down. Sheila had more knowledge and brought more education in her class than any other previous classes I have taken. I was very impressed. I have been a stylist for over 8 years and met very successful stylist in my class. We were all wowed by Sheila, her knoweldge and the quality product. The extensions have brought a lot of profit to my business and I owe it all to her. If you are looking for an extention class, you ONLY need to go to Goddess Hair Extensions. She covers everything you need to know and is VERY helpful. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sheila is not a phony nor a fake. She is absolutely the best hair extensionist in the bay area & I speak from experience as I've tried a few. My very 1st encounter with her began with an email inquiry. I expected a response a few days later but imagine my surprise when she wrote back 5 minutes later! She answered all of my questions & we arranged a consultation where we met in person. From there it was easy, we got the hair the same day (beautiful Bohyme/Remy 100% human hair) & the next day I was walking around with a head full of long, beautiful, silky straight hair. That was 3 years ago and while my own hair has now grown out to the length I want it, I still use some of the hair I got from Sheila as highlights, that's how good the quality of this hair is. I would highly recommend Sheila to anyone interested in getting hair extensions. Sheila is not a hair stylist-she has never claimed to be. What she is is a great hair extensionist that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in enhancing or changing their look with hair extensions. Sheila is truly a master at this craft!

I had been wanting hair extensions forever! I lived in Los Angeles, hair extensions are everywhere there! But everywhere I looked was so expensive and the upkeep was crazy. Also, every method I saw was so damaging to hair. Then I came across Goddess Extensions (not to be confused with Goddess HAIR Extensions) they are located in the bay area. When I came for my initial consultation I was so excited and happy! Finally, I would be able to get hair extensions with paying an arm and a leg. They're so easy to care for, I just use Pureology and that extends the life of my hair. I've gotten so many compliments and the best part of all: the extensions look soooo natural. When I came across the negative comments about Sheila I was upset because people who don't know her or know about her business might be turned away by a negitive ad that has absolutley NO CREDABILITY. All you have to do is make an appointment to see them and see for yourself how awesome they are. I stand behind them and their work. My before and after pictures are on their website. I am a REAL client of theirs and will continue to be!

Pros: Convenient hours and location!

Cons: None!!!!

Sheila is FANTASTIC! I have had Great Lengths, Dreamcatchers, etc. and Sheila did the BEST job ever! She TEACHES people how to do these wonderful extensions. Your hair will look wonderful! Sheila is so talented, professional, fast and fair! The hair is human, multi-highlighted, beautiful and she does an individual job that you will love!! You will have a beautiful head of hair that NO ONE will know you have extensions. Sheila is the best. It is awful this lady is lying about her and slandering her. Sheila, you are amazing and I'm so sorry this is happening to you--God Bless!

The 2 positive reviews below are as fake as Sheila Matechuk is. They were put up to it by Sheila and her sister Elena and should be removed. Pay attention to the last posting from Sarah because she is not the first one to complain about her hair being ruined by Sheila who has no licensing, previous work experience or formal education to do hair. Apparently, Sheila's not legal to work in the U.S. and that's why she goes back to Canada every 3 months to renew her tourist visa. complaintsboard Sheila started out a couple of years ago by promoting hairextensionsalonlocator and pissing off her advertising clients because she was competing with them by doing hair extensions herself. She came across the Goddess Hair Extensions on her competitor's site named hairextensionguide. First she ripped off the software code from her competitor's site then she ripped off the Goddess Hair Extensions name from a legit company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. She's been trashing the Goddess Hair Extensions name ever since and pissing many people off with her false advertising and cheap hair. Sheila claims to have done over 2,000 clients hair extensions in the past 2 years which is impossible and a big lie. She claims to have 4 salons in the Bay Area which is a bigger lie. She rents a chair from Louie when the salon is closed on Monday and works out of her apartment without a salon license. She puts up fake reviews and press releases on the web to make her look like an experienced celebrity stylist. She's never done a celebrity in her life! Sheila's also ripping off innocent women with her fake training classes. The women training aren't licensed stylists. They go to her since she doesn't require licensing like legit hair extension training companies do. They in turn ruin other women's hair because they weren't trained properly and they're buying her bunk product which she claims is the best. Watch out for the Sheila the Fake!

I was very nervous when checking around to get hair extensions, and Elena, the receptionist at Goddess Extensions was very knowledgeable and kind. She gave me many options-and there is a huge wealth of information on their website-I was really happy that they also *only* do extensions, because they are really quick and amazing at what they do. My hair is three different colors, and it blended perfectly-I was really pleased with the results, and the price was the best I found as well...
