I found Chris when I was looking for a stylist in the Pleasanton area to do my hair for my wedding. I saw all the amazing reviews she received on the internet and booked a consultation with her. My experience with her was simply the best. I brought photos and ideas of what I wanted to do with my hair and it felt like she was truly listening to me. I always felt like she had all the time in the world to spend with me - such amazing customer service. I had wanted a particular style and it didn't seem to work on my hair the first time we did it so she took the time to ponder solutions to make it work. Finally, after 3 trials, we ended up finding the perfect hairstyle for my hair and I was truly happy and more importantly, it looked amazing on the wedding day. She also did the hair for my bridal party and moms on the wedding day - 9 girls in total and everyone asked for different hairstyles but she was able to work her magic and everyone looked amazing - she even managed to squeeze in 2 girls who had not planned on getting their hair done. Best of all her prices are so reasonable. I would pay more to have her do my hair. Anyway while I had only been looking for a stylist for my wedding, I now plan to go to her for my haircuts and color even though she is not near my home - it is well worth the trip for an amazing style and excellent customer service!

I met Chris when I took my daughter for her back-to-school hair cut. After she finished with my daughter, she very politely said to me "I have something to show you" and pulled her own hair back to reveal her own extensions. I never would have known she had them but told her I ha ve tried all methods and none have worked for me. Chris was a little persistant but made me an offer I could not refuse and am I happy she did! My hair now looks and feels like the hair I always dreamed of. It is completely natural, I wash, style and treat it the same, but it takes 1/2 the effort, looks like I want it to look, and holds all day without enormous amounts of product in it. It was not at all expensive- much less than I have paid for other extensions and services. When Chris works on a customer's hair you can tell she genuinely wants to solve issues, and takes personal interest in each customer. I only wish I had found her sooner. The only negative comment I can think of is that she is very busy, so plan ahead!

Chris stays so busy it can be difficult to get an appointment. Last time I needed a cut there was a wait so I decided to try elsewhere- What a mess they made of my hair! My family laughed at the job and I felt conspicuous for almost a month. Now I am back but make sure to make my next appointment before I leave so I don't suffer again.
Pros: skill, atmosphere, location, service
Cons: good stylists are busy!

I made an appointment with Chris after reading her glowing reviews on many review sites just to see if they were all right, and I have to admit I gave her a bad time but she came through for me. first, I asked for a consultaion appointment for a simple cut-no attitude, just accomodated my request. Then I came in not knowing what I wanted. With patience she asked questions, suggested possibilities, then when I finally told her all I wanted was a very light trim, she did just that. I get so tired of people doing what THEY want rather than what I want, but this did not happen with Chris. She is a talented, no-nonsense person who gives great work at very reasonable prices. If the job is not what you expect, she will fix it at her cost. There is no shallow ego at work here. In fact I heard her tell a customer that if her friend (who was a client that fell on hard times) wanted a cut she would happily do it at no charge. We need more like her out there. Unfortunately the only bad thing is that she stays VERY busy so we must plan ahead if we want to use her. It is worth it to me!

When I first visited Chris I must admit I was fearful. I had seen so many stylsts and was never happy. But I was immediately calm when Chris introduced herself. Something told me this time would be different and it really was! Chris really took time to let me describe what I wanted and asked questions to clarify. As she was cutting and coloring my hair she again asked me how I wanted my hair to look. When she was done I was soooo happy with the look! My hair never looked that good and I found when I did it at home it came out as nice as it did in the salon. Good hair cutting still is available in Pleasanton and Chris is the person that can do the look you want.
Pros: great cuts, color, conversation, atmosphere.
Cons: cant think of one

What I look for in a hair dresser is the ability to understand my difficult challenges such as very thin, lacking body, and color that looks dull. During my consultation I could see that I was being heard-very difficult to find today. Then we discussed possible solutions and also limitations. There was no bs, Chris was very honest about what my hair was able to do, but also suggested stragegically placed extensions that could enhance some of the more difficult areas, no one in the past had ever talked about adding hair to mine. When we were finished my hair looked totally natural but had body and fullness. I am finding it easy to style and care for because I was instructed before I left the shop. Right now I feel I finally have attractive hair-something I never had before. I also feel I was treated as an individual-not given the "style of the day."
Pros: individual treatment, great work, common sense suggestions
Cons: none

After fighting with my last stylist over and over about my color, I tried Chris and have been with her for over one year now. She listens, tries new things if something is not working, and is always pleasant to talk with. She does not over book and has always been on time for my appointments. I have finally been happy with my hair after many years of frustration and dissapointment. Chris is the best in the area!
Pros: shop was just remodeled, great location, no drama to contend with, great service!
Cons: none

I watched this stylist interact with several customers of the shop and she was so open and friendly so I decided to try her with my hair. She did an awsome job with the cut and the color, exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend you try Chris.
Pros: fair prices, great skills
Cons: none

After reading umteen reviews I decided to call Chris to see what see could do with my ugly hair. I walked in and was immediately greeted, asked to have a seat and watched Chris finish the customer in the chair. I was impressed and that made me feel more comfortable about using a new stylist. Chris was on time, she spent time with me learning my likes etc, repeated back to me what she thought I was telling her, then went to work to create the style I had discussed with her. When she had finished the cut she talked me through what I would need to do at home to re-create the style. I left feeling that I looked fabulous and that I could do the style myself at home. All in all it was a very pleasant experience, and I love my new style.
Pros: listened, good atmosphere, easy to find, totally good experience
Cons: none

My wife is finally happy with my hair. For years she has complained about the cuts I got in those in and out shops. Chris takes time to see ther are no lines in my fade, and the top hair lies down really well. I can tell her what was good and bad about the last cut and she never takes issue with that. For the first time in many yeard I like my hair. Try her!
