When I read the reviews for this salon I thought, okay I'll give them a try. I was going out that night and wanted a shampoo and style. I figured if I'm trying a new salon I better not go for the cut or color just yet. Well, let me start by saying the reviews are true. All of the girls in there are really nice. Lindsey did a great job on my hair and was very social and friendly. When I told them I was going out that night, they asked if I wanted my make up done, and promised it would look natural. Wow! Deb did my make up and I swear by their mineral make up now. I had a really nice time there and I felt great when I left. Not too many places do that for me.

Erin is amazing!! The best high-lights I've had yet.... She really takes the time to listen to what you want. I love my cut and color~ If you're looking for the special up-do Lyndsey is amazing and Deb is such a talented make-up artist. I love their mineral make-up line. I've used them several times for events in the city. I always refer my clients to Milvali Salon... it's the best one stop shop in the city. Thanks girls for making me beautiful!!!

So, I was accused of being a "Bride-zilla" when planning for my wedding , and I guess I am just really picky. I went to Milvali for a hair and make up consultation...(my third one) and I finally found hair and make up people that know what they're doing. My entire bridal party and I got our hair and make up done at the Milvali Salon on Union St. and I couldn't have been happier. The make up is their own brand, so I was a little skeptical, but Deb did exactly what I wanted and it looked amazing. I got false eyelashes put on that actually looked real and felt good. Lindsey did my hair and I have to say I was shocked that the style stayed put all day and night. On top of the great service, they are all really, really nice. I am so glad I was "Bride-zilla -otherwise I would have never found this great salon!!!! Thank you Milvali for making me and my wedding party so beautiful. I will be back after the honeymoon!

Deb did my hair extensions and did an awesome job. I have never had so many compliments on my hair...ever! I am a working mom and the entensions actually cut down on my time getting ready for work in the morning, and my husband loves the look. I highly recommend Deb, she is an upbeat fun person and does amazing work. Oh, I also had my make-up done by Deb before I left the salon, and wouldn't you know it, I was asked for my phone number from a handsome young man as I was walking around Union Street....thanks Deb!

After reading the reviews on Citysearch, I decided to try Milvali Salon. Everyone was amazing! I walked in and was greeted so nicely by everyone. Erin did my cut and color and it looks FABULOUS! She is excellent and easy going and so nice. All the girls there interact with you and are so cool. I ended up getting an impromptu brow wax with Erin D. and she did an amazing job as well! I will definitley be back I think I finally found MY salon!

This place is amazing. Such a friendly, happy place to go get beautiful. They do everything- extensions, hair styling, waxing, lash and brow tinting and bridal services. And the staff is awesome. If you're going to get your eyebrows/waxing done in the city, Erin D. is the girl to see. Trust me, I've been a client for years and won't go to anyone else. Go right outside and get a glass of wine at Beetlenut afterwards. It's the perfect afternoon!

So happy that they now have a location in the city. Courtney was so great at applying my make-up - I bought everything she used. Can't wait to get back to San Francisco for more.

I have lived in the Marina for a couple of years, and have been to quite a few salons... but this is my new favorite. I had my hair cut, and my make up done for a party, and I looked amazing. Not only did they do a great job, but the girls in there are so nice, so talented and not snobby. I just love it in there. They make you feel very comfortable, and actually listen to you. for a hair salon, that is rare. Lyndsay did my hair, and Courtney did my make-up. I am going back next week for high lights...!!

Pros: fun area, nice staff, great services

Cons: none so far.

This is the latest and greatest salon to have a home at this Union Street address. The staff is friendly and I was very happy with my service. I would recommend this salon to a friend.

I was looking for a salon in my neighborhood to get a haircut and stumbled upon this one. I didn't have an appointment, but they were able to get me in. It was seriously the best experience I have had in a salon. The girls were really nice and my hair came out beautifully. Courtney did exactly what I wanted. I felt I had to review this salon because they are so good and nice..... everyone should know.

Pros: Friendly, great stylists

Cons: none that I found
