Maureen Raytis Is the BEST. Maureen Raytis has changed my life! I started see Maureen 4 months ago after reading several reviews that she is one of the leading Acupuncturist in the Bay Area in terms of addressing fertility. I have been TCC for 4 years with no success (now 41). After numerous surgeries to correct problems, and a failed IVF where the Dr. pretty much said it was unlikely that I would ever conceive, I decided to try a more holistic approach. Maureen was very knowledgeable, caring and seemed to instantly have a handle on how to address my specific issue. Her passionate approach coupled with the serene atmosphere made every visit worth the next. I really appreciated that she did not have a "one fits all" attitude and that she tailored my treatment which included herbs and acupuncture to my situation. She was also very flexible with scheduling appts. and her prices are comparably lower. I am ecstatic to say, I am now 6 weeks pregnant and truly believe that God sent Maureen as my angel. I could not wait to share my news with her. I will continue to see Maureen throughout my pregnancy...I can't thank her enough. I wholeheartedly, recommend Maureen.

Fantastic acupuncturist!. I can't say enough about Maureen. I went to her a few months before starting fertility treatments. I went through IVF and with Maureen's help I was able to get pregnant the very first time! She is not only a skilled acupuncturist, she is also very insightful and was able to tailor each session to my specific needs. She really took the time to listen with compassion and as a patient I felt she genuinely cared and was excited for our process and eventual success!

I had been to see other acupuncturists in the past and had varied success but none like with Maureen. In addition, I found her to be the most gentle with regards to the actual treatment. No pain at all! I highly recommend her for anyone trying to get pregnant or anyone seeking the best acupuncturist around.

Tennis Elbow. I had surgery on my elbow last year and it was better but only about 60%. I still had some pain after I played. I started getting acupuncture treatments and noticed the pain going away over time. Now I feel I can play pain free, which I thought I would never be able to do. I'm thrilled that I can play again!!

Good for Depression. I had never had acupuncture before, and didn't know what to expect. Maureen explains the process and effects with expertise. It is a very nurturing environment! I went here to assist with depression symptoms. Over time, I really felt a difference. I believe these treatments really helped me through the winter season. And, she is knowledgeable in supplements, herbs as well!

Feel better in 1 treatment!. I have known Maureen for over 10 years. First meeting her at Five Branches Institute truly changed my life. My health was in a dire state of imbalance, and seeking Western approaches to remedy the problems resulted in more fear and turmoil. Every time I went to see a Doctor, it got worse. When the Doc finally decided that I had Lupus, I said, enough. I saw Maureen as an Intern for 9 months. I got better after every session, which was a remarkable improvement over the Western based experiences. I believe that the treatments and their effectiveness was based on Maureen's intent. Her demeanor is inspiring and her treatments reflect her regard for balance.

Her practice is thriving, and from experience, her tactics for pain reduction are amazing. From migraines to PMS, knee pain to shoulder pain, after one visit, you can expect to exclaim how much better you feel. But the most amazing treatment I ever received from her was 3 years ago. I was nauseous for literally 4 months, couldn't keep anything in when I finally paid her a visit. Some ShaoYang thing, she said the virus was stuck neither internally nor externally. She treated me there, and then left some small tacks in my wrist for me to tap every time I felt sick. She gave me a formula, and by the next day, I was back at work after having 2 meals that didn't make me feel sick. Truly amazing. How many Western Doc's can boast such results?!

I know that she is also treating more and more fertility cases these days, too.

Outstanding Acupuncturist!. As a psychotherapist, I have found the acupuncture services provided by Maureen to be extremely effective for a multitude of physical and emotional issues. Every client I have referred has been very satisfied, as have I.

People I have known who have been treated by Maureen have received relief from anxiety, depression, back pain, allergies as well as infertility and weight loss. Her office and therapeutic approach is warm and inviting.

scared of needles!?. ok, so pretty much everyone i know has had acupuncture and some say good things and some say bad things. i pretty much avoided it my whole life until i started having severe allergies, eye twitching, insomnia and excessive body heat all at the same time!! I ran to Maureens office in need of some serious help! she made me feel so comfortable and after the first session i felt so much better. the needles are so small and virtually painless. within a month all of my stress-induced ailments were completely gone and haven't had anything back for almost a full year! thanks mo!

love her!. As a professional in the Healing Arts field, I have been to many practitioners over the years. I have to say that Maureen is everything that I look for in a Healer. She is knowledgeable, accessible, thorough, gentle, down-to-earth, warm and professional. Most importantly, Maureen gets results. She has made a positive impact on my health and my work. I feel lucky to have her as part of my personal health ?team?.

Converted a skeptic! A thoroughly modern traditionalist.. I've been seeing Maureen for 2 years or so, and I am more impressed with each visit. I look forward to them. I'm something of an athlete, although with no real background as such, so my body understanding is evolving and my treatment needs include but are not limited to athletic ones. I'm open-minded about treatment modalities, but I am pretty empirical about outcomes. I've had massage treatment for many years, and I wanted to add a supplemental "alternative" treatment.

I was really pleased that her treatments addressed some concrete long-term problems for me: shoulder, neck, periphormice (sp?), foot, and sleep problems as well as helped me run 3 marathons in 2 years and heal a sprained MCL! Try getting your MD's insurance to help you do that ;-)

She's a great listener; seeks mutual understanding of the problem; can customize treatments to your needs and comfort-levels; and, she takes insurance (she did 2 years ago, but I don't have any, so I pay cash). She helped me be fearless about getting needles in my feet! That's good - crazy, but good.

I believe she has backgrounds in exercise, body movement, and community-based public health, as well as being bi-lingual, so she can "meet you" in most any place/space you want to work with her, metaphorically speaking: physical, energy, or spiritual.

Her office is calm and groovy in a cool neighborhood accessible by bus, train, and car. Very nice, but real, too.

So yea, Maureen is All That. Call her now!

Great Acupuncturist for Fertility. I am sitting here at age 41 writing as my 4 week old baby is rocking gently by my side. Maureen is very easy to work with, a sweetheart and she is a great help to women who are trying to conceive. Once I was pregnant, she also helped me stay pregnant. I was only trying for four months and after six weeks working with Maureen, I conceived at age 40.

She is a no pressure, wonderful acupuncturist and I highly recommend her!!
