Nothing Positive except the drinks??

BAD - sums it up in one word.

Food = Bad; Service = Worse; Host = awesome; Manager = good

When I first walked in the host was gracious and friendly. The lay out was interesting and the band already playing. Our water came over asked what we would like from the bar. We asked for the low down -- got it and ordered something as simple as martini's to go with the meal. Let me say THIS was the BEST part of the meal.

Everything had too much salt. The artichoke dip was salty and not rich with cheese or artichokes for that matter. The crab cakes lacked crab; which I should have expected for the price. The salads were bland/ boring and the Caesar dressing salty. The risotto was extremely salty and undercooked; when I sent it back; it was cooked, but still a bit salty and the vegetable medley tasted like it had come out of a frozen bag of vegetables. (The woman sitting behind me order the same vegetable risotto and I noticed she didn't eat hers either.)

My colleague ordered the salmon. They burned the first order - came and told us it would be another 5 minutes because of that. Then 15 minutes later the second salmon they brought out was a VERY dry piece with burned vegetables; I'm guessing from the first salmon.

Our waiter never came back to check on us after that. He seemed too concerned with the bigger tables and the guaranteed tip. I am generally a good tipper even if the service is mediocre -- this server was AWFUL. It was the host who checked in and asked us if everything was OK, then followed through and apologized for all the inconveniences and got the manager for us. Our 'server' still did not come over, nor did he apologize for his absence; his poor service or the food we had to send back twice. The host was great -- so, I personally tipped him and thanked him.

Food bad!! Service - oh so bad! .. I will never go there again; nor would I even recommend it until they get a new chef and a new server.
