My ten year old daughter and I enjoyed this movie! We both laughed, screamed and tossed our popcorn a few times as we jumped in fear. The 3-D effect was super fun! Fortunately my husband did not go with us, because he would have had too many items to pick apart. A few small inconsistencies, factual errors, and several "that couldn't really happen" moments. If you are like him then you will not like this film. If you are the type of viewer (like me) who just wants to forget about whats real or not real for a little while and have a good time this is for you. *We were not charged for our 3-D glasses, but I've heard that some theaters make you pay extra. If it makes a difference to anyone these are decent quality plastic glasses that fit nicely over my regular eyeglasses, not the flimsy cardboard type that are annoying to wear.

Pros: 3-D effect and lots of action

I think they could of done more with the effects than they did. I love the story line and the interaction with the people. But was very disappointed with what more they could of done to show the 3-D more. Sorry it is worth watching but I was still left wanting more...

Journey to the Center of the Earth was funny and cool. It was kind of gross when Trever sprayed his saliva out of his mouth in the sink. Hey thats what they were trying to get to. I felt Brandon Frasier and Josh Hutcherson did very well along with Anita Breim. I won't give away the movie because you'll have to see this great thrill ride yourself.

Pros: Everything

Cons: nada

My 7yr old thought this movie "creeped him out". We saw it in 3-D and sat near the front. Maybe if we saw it in 2D it would have been ok. Caution to kids that are sensitive to certain scary elements (I don't want to give away too much about the movie).
