classy party catering worthy of my fine foodie friends

Cynthia catered a buffet party for 100 in my home. She presentted an Asian fusion feast that please discerning gourmets at a price that pleased me. Even more important, I enjoyed working with her and she blended gracefully with the guests. I will definitely call on her again.

• Pros: She really is a delight to plan and work with.
• Cons: Her support person failed to show the night of our party but I assume she's solved that problem by now.

Amazing Caterer / Chef

My husband and I had Cynthia Washburn do the food for our wedding party a few months ago and were incredibly happy with her work. She was reliable, punctual, professional, very cool and a master in the kitchen. In years to come, I'm not sure what people will remember most about that party...the bride and groom or the food. It will be a tough call. :)

Food to die for

Hamachi poke; parsnip soup; venison in a coffee-vanilla sauce; molten chocolate heaven for dessert. AHH. Cynthia Washburn catered a private dinner for us and four friends, and weeks later people are still talking about it. The food was outstanding - perfectly prepared, creative, and in tune with the winter season. Each dish was explained, and the wine pairings were just right. We've eaten in a lot of fine restaurants - French Laundry, Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton, Boulevard, Le Cirque in both New York and Las Vegas, Nobu in London, to name just a few - as well as many excellent neighborhood joints - and we know food. Our dinner experience with Cynthia ranks in the top 10. Service-wise, Cynthia was top-notch - she expertly timed our meal around the needs of 3 babies under 12 weeks old, and at the end of the meal, our kitchen was left spic-and-span. Bravo! We'll definitely hire her again.

Creative Hipster Caterer Rocks!

Cynthia is the best! I have worked with her to cater everything from technology conferences to intimate house parties to parking lot BBQs for the past two years and she exceeds my wildest dreams each time. She always creates really inventive tasty bits and is quite good at adapting any menu. Best of all, Cynthia can also handle the hassles of outdoor permits to glass and table rentals all on one invoice. Her servers are always sassy and cute so that goes a long way, too. Hire her!
