I really enjoyed getting a tattoo at Dragon's Lair. I got my tattoo from Charlotte and she was truly skilled and a nice person. I went in my first time and set up a series of consultations in order for her and I to design my tattoo. I would recommend taking this route and taking time to design your tattoo so that she can do something really special and original. If you let her take her time and do something out of the usual cliche tattoos she will put alot of work into it and truly enjoy it. Every time I went in during the design process she made me seem like I was her friend and was excited about my tattoo. Also talking to her during the tattoo is really nice and helps take your mind off of the pain. By far the best price in Oakland and the best artists. Just know that Dominick is not the only great artist but so is Charlotte, so ask for her and take your time getting a beautiful piece of art. Thank you Charlotte! I hope that you get the chance to go to Japan and tattoo soon.
Pros: Really friendly artists and great art if you take your time
Cons: Not much parking, but just park in Hollywood Video, Lucky's, or at a meter

Known Dom for years...referred quite a few people to him....he is a true artist! if you are looking for something you can't pick off a wall and throw it on your body and call it art....then he's yer man! He'll keep you intertained with his raw sense of humor, professional, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN....and close to 30 yrs experience! Check him out, he never disappoints! And the last post is right...HE HATES COVER UPS!!! LOL!

Dominick is great not only does he do excellent work he is funny too, i love tats but i still get scarred, and his humor made time fly... his prices are good, he is down to earth and a pure artist…. Also if ur new to tats he is the person to see he wont do work that not right for you, he is not in the habit of takin peoples money…
Pros: everything
Cons: he hates cover ups....
