Top sushi spot in Dublin/Pleasanton area
by paulx_66 at Citysearch
Haven't tried them all but Senro's is up there with any moderately priced sushi spot in the Bay Area (Not at Yoshi's level but not too far off). Comfortable place to eat, good sake list. What sets this place apart are there creative rolls...many to choose from and flat out good. You can't go wrong here (although when I've had it their O-Toro is not up to my standards).
- Pros: Good quality Sushi, excellent Roll selection, great Sake list
- Cons: If you have to have O-Toro, then this is not the place for you
Horrible Service
by onelilreb at Citysearch
My husband and I went to Senro for lunch. We were the first to arrive around 11:35am. No one was waiting to greet us. One of the cooks had to call someone from the back. She sat us with our menus and walked away. She came back in 5 min to ask what we wanted to drink. After bringing our drinks, she walked away. My husband had to get her attention to take our order. After bringing our order, she never approached our table again. After we were completed down with our lunch and waiting about 5 - 10 minutes, my husband had to flag her down to get our check. Food was great, but not worth the service.
- Pros: Great Food, Average Prices
- Cons: Lousy Service
Very spacious and great sushi!

Looking at the outside of the building, we had our doubts about the restaurant. Once inside, the restaurant was very spacious, roomy, and modern. It even had a "room" for large parties (15-20 people). The food and the sushi was very good and we would definitely come back!
New Pleasanton Sushi
by fitz94566 at Citysearch
New Sushi place in a place where many others have failed. It is between main & first street in the place with the very nice deck area. Sat on the deck, it was warm. Sushi was top notch. Service a little rough, no soy sauce and waiter did not seem to know menu. But hey, they are just getting started. Best unagi I have had. Be sure to print out coupon. I will be back.
- Pros: Deck, Quality, Friendly
