Every time I go into this store, its always because of the amazing dress in the window display. Once inside, I've always been greeted with a smile and friendly service.

I love Ooma. It's what all shops shold be like, individual, unique and with an owner who is totally passionate about what she does. It's one of those places it is great just to go - it feels nice, and there is always something new, something that makes you coo. As a guy it is a great place to go because I can tell Kate what my wife is looking for and she will come up with just the right thing, always something that is really special. My only complaint is she doen't do stuff for me - although I am interested in those rather cute kitten heals if she ever gets them in a 12.
Pros: Individual, Unique gorgeous items, Wonderful service

I'd pay anything just to spend time with her-she is one of the kindest retail owners I've met. Lots of flair-all Kate!

Now, I'm a guy, but I have to say this is the most guy friendly women's clothing store ever. First, they have they designated "Guy's Chair", which is for us guys to sit in while their ladies try on item after item and come out and model them for us. But more importantly, the clothes and accessories are terrific!! Every time someone came out of the dressing room, I thought, "Wow, that looks great!!" And contrary to what others have written, they do have a few select items for us guys. Lastly, the ower is so cute, spunky, and helpful, I almost fell in love on site. Check out this store, you won't regret it.
Pros: great colors, variety, spunky, sassy owner

Happy, happy wonderland! Ooma is the most cheerful place I can possibly think of! Pink, girlie but not too cutsie and a definate flair of yesteryear. There's adorable felted hats with butterflies, super-cute handbags, purses cosmetic bags. . .It's all about the accessories, and the fab independent designers that make them! Thank you OOMA! Love it!
Pros: on every busline, cute neighborhood
Cons: wish it was bigger

I live in LA and found this shop on City Search. We don't have anything like it in LA! It's so old school cute! They have clothes I've never seen before (plus a few standbys) - and amazing jewelry. It's refreshing to see a shop that supports so many locals - esp when the designs are original. And the owner (her name is Kate) is adorable - I found her extremely helpful and chatty. Another bonus - the prices at Ooma are lower than some of the other shops i visited. Oh - and I didn't use it - but they just started validating parking.
Pros: original, happy environment, priced right
Cons: limited sizes, no returns

This place is soo not dressed to impress. There are other boutiques in the city which impress me much more. I didn't have such a friendly with the owner either. Plus parking is horrible. Definitely a thumbs down on this one. Sugarpoppy, Brown Eyed Girl, Place du Soleil on Polk, Primadona on Union. These places are a few that are chic and have very nice unique gifts to impress!!

Ooma has a unique flair from funky-sophisticated clothing down to the nail polish to match. Jewelry galore!! If your eyes need candy and you're sick of the same old things in every boutique go to Ooma and get ready to fall in love.
