I went to Christopher's salon just 6 months ago in an effort to change my overall look. His expertise is obvious; his advice frank, and his conversation from the obscure to the mundane is endlessly entertaining. Need a good ole haircut, go to Enzi. Need something new, go to Enzi. Gotta hide those grays, go to Enzi. Got a Saturday afternoon open, go to Enzi (there's always new artwork to view).

I have been coming to Christopher for about four years now and I couldn't imagine trying to go anywhere else. This is probably why after moving to Los Angeles I still drive up to get my hair cut! Christoper is an amazing person and always has a wealth of information on everything from art to life. Come to Enzi Hair!

I live half an hour south of the city within walking distance from a number of reputable looking hair salons. I would never EVER think of going to one of these over a trip to Enzi. Christopher knows how I want my hair to look even better than I do! The art on the walls is fabulous and he has great taste in music. All in all it's the most enjoyable experience I've ever had getting a haircut. By the way, the art on the walls is for sale and he's a wealth of knowledge for cool books to read and good music to listen to.

Since I moved to San Francisco a few years ago, I have been searching for that creative hair stylist, and finally I found him. Christopher not only offers unique styling, but a wonderful atmosphere, and a pleasant conversation that I look forward to. Highly recommended.

Pros: Great style/taste, wonderful atmosphere, great location

I travel to SF frequently and try to time my haircuts so I can get them in SF from Christopher - he is wonderful.

Excellente haircut. Plus, Christopher Enzi is as engaging as he is talented. The space is inviting and convenient in the Castro, easy walk from Muni. I finally found a keeper after searching for five years since moving to the city.

Christopher has been my stylist since the late 90s and has always kept my hair style current. Recently I walked into his shop and asking him for a Cesar (it was just after Rome played on HBO). His reply was that he would do something that fit into today’s styles that would make me happy. Twenty minutes later I looked in the mirror and was thrilled to see a contemporary hair cut that filled my wishes. This is not unusual, you see this is the way it is with Christopher; he keeps current on the styles, attends seminars, he knows his stuff and I trust him enough to ask for anything wild and know he’ll make it work for me, my face, and today’s styles. Besides his natural ability to style hair he is also a very kind person that is a joy to be around. You can’t go wrong with Christopher Enzi!

Pros: He is friendly, knowlegable, and good

Cons: In this case there are no cons.

If you're looking for a cool dude who will understand what you want and make the entire experience a pleasure, Christopher is your guy. Great conversationalist, nice music ... but mostly he really understands who I am and makes my hair match my being. Love the new digs.

Christopher is a true artist! I searched forever until I finally found someone that really knows how to cut my hair. The style is easy to maintain, and I have received numerous compliments from friends and co-workers since my first visit to Christopher. Christopher has created a very welcoming atmosphere in his salon (the new space is terrific!), and conversation about music, movies, books, art, etc. (all while Christopher is working his magic), make my visits more than just another haircut. Thank you, Christopher!

We all know that haircut - the one that when you walk out of the salon you're immediately getting' checked out. This happened today. Even before I left Enzi's, I was getting smiles. On Muni, a strappingly handsome lad sat next to me, struck up a conversation and whispered into my ear that he though I was cute. Yes - that was a bit forward, but did I mind - absolutely not. All evening both guys and girls were checking me out in that, "I'd definitely like to get to know you better..." way. Is it that Spring is in the air? That Virgo is trine Mars making everyone extra flirtatious? Or is it ENZI?

Pros: Consistently excellent work. Doesn't waste my time.
