Great Italian

What a pleasant surprise to find excellent Italian Restaurant in San Pablo! Once inside, the ambiance is old world Italy. Service is great and food wonderful. Everything we've had from the pastas to meat dishes are wonderful. The Veal Marsala is the Best! Fine for kids and will provide bowl of pasta with any sauce you want for a lower price. Tiramisu is so good that we will often get it to go for a small dinner party at home. Prices are reasonable as well. Highly recommend for any occasion.
- Pros: Great Food, Nice ambiance, Good Parking

Before La Strada opened its door for the first time, we here in east bay had no really good Italian restaurants .My family and I were so surprised at the
quality of food and friendly staff.
We love La Strada's so much that my wife and I were married in the up stairs dining room. It was such a beautiful wedding. We were treated like king and queen.
We recommend La Strada to everyone who enjoys real Italian food.
- Pros: Wounderful food and courteous staff fill all your needs.
- Cons: Not one!

The atmosphere is traditional in the spirit of No. Italy. My Italian brother-in-law loved the pasta primavera and my sons and nephews liked the angel hair pasta. My daughter and I prefer special-order veggie plates. The prices are fair given the quality of the food. It is a family-friendly place that has banquet rooms for meetings and events. (I was first introduced to La Strada at a work-related Board meeting/reception.) In the summer, they have a series if nights when they offer a special menu and live music.

We live in El Cerrito and we go to La Strada on a regular basis. The food is very good, the service is good, and the family-style ambiance is great. Compared to the overpriced "Italian" restaurants in San Francisco, this one is the real thing. Good prices, lots of food, and absolutely no attitude.

Wonderful Italian food and excellent service. I can't wait to go back. The food was fabulous and and there was no waiting for our table. Easy to get to and park - not too far from Hercules/Pinole area but worth the drive.

A wonderful Italian restaurant with very comfortable ambiance. One of the best I have eaten at outside the East Coast. Very comfortable family type restaurant with true Italian food, exquisite food!! One of my all time favorites. Plus, it is affordable; you can take the family out for lunch or dinner without paying a small fortune.

In Short
Large groups -- and appetites -- are welcome at this much-loved Italian restaurant. The two-tier dining room and banquet facilities connote simple elegance, with white tablecloths and pretty, Tuscan country-style decor. A rustic, traditional menu includes veal Marsala, veal piccata, and whole roasted game hen sauteed with white wine and lots of rosemary. Primi piatti (mostly pasta) feature favorites such as linguine alle vongole (clam sauce), and rarer choices such as veal-stuffed ravioli.
