Stay away from the shrimp.

The free late night delivery was great, as was our broccoli beef. The beef was super tender and the broccoli was cooked just right. The chow mien we order was okay, a little on the bland side. The real meal breaker was the spicy garlic shrimp the person on the phone had recommended. The shrimp were not deveined. So unappetizing!

One of the Best Chinese Resturants outside of China Town, Great Customer Service, They deliver most everywhere

They will Deliver to Middle Earth! NO matter where you live in the Bay area they deliver. They Deliver hot they deliver fresh and they deliver great food. ( and they remember you last order even when you can't)

There menu has a large variety and is good for the non pork/red meat eaters, all they way to the vegans. I typically order the:

Twice cooked string beans and chicken - Excellent

They have great chicken won ton soup for those who do not eat pork- Good

Leamon Chicken- Great

Walnut Prawns- Good

Oh yeah and the prices are resonable, you can have a large meal for 3 with leftovers for less than 30 bucks!

• Cons: If you are into fancy(fake) asian food, the ambiance won't be for you, parking is metered and hell on Grand Ave

Just all around bad

Based on the one other review we ordered the walnut prawns (a few shrimp SWIMMING in coagulated mayo with a few chips of walnuts), sesame chicken (imagine sweet and sour chicken made with ketsup and seseme, then extra fried), hot and sour soup (bland and primarily with carrots). I won't go back and I'm amazed this place can afford to pay rent.

• Cons: inedible, overpriced

Still the best Grand Lake Chinese

When I moved to Oakland from San Francisco I was owrried that I wouldn't find good Chinese that delivers and is good. I still haven't food good Dim Sum nearby but as far as standard Chinese this is very good.

Excellent potstickers, chow mein, fried rice. For really good stuff get their Wor won ton soup, seseme chicken and the honey walnut prawns(the best of even any of the SF restaurants I have tried not as much, if any, mayo as the other places I have tried.)

Their delivey servide is excellent and the restaurant, while sparten in decour has good courteous service and is clean!

• Pros: Not too greasy, excellent seafood, delivers
• Cons: delivers after 5/5:30, no dim sum, no HK style noodles
