Tom's Burger Rating
by tluckenbach at Citysearch
Nations is one the best local burger chains. Period. Not much on ambiance but they make a great Burger with Cheese and Ortega Chili. 1/2 pounder with fries and shake... hard to beat.
- Pros: Large burgers, great pies
- Cons: still fried
Best cheeseburger you have ever had - guaranteed!

I like small portions of food but will never turn down a Giant Hamburger!
Whenever I see a picture of the cheeseburger my mouth starts to water!
The bacon burger and harvester are also quite good!
I highly recommend this place if you are looking to taste the best cheeseburger you have ever had.
Great burgers

You know exactly what you're getting when you walk into Nation's. If you want cheap and delicious burgers, fries, and shakes, this is the place to go to. If you're looking for something more upscale, go elsewhere. It's that simple.
Heart Attack waiting to happen

I used to like Nations - that was a million years ago. Nowadays, it's just about my last choice. I can handle the greasy burgers once in awhile, but those fries are horrible and the cheese is cheap as hell. And the staff couldn't smile if they wanted to. Of course, that's just the way Americans work - like they don't need your business and they hate your guts. Oh, and the meat is pretty flavorless. Sorry, Nations!
- Pros: Fresh but questionable quality
- Cons: Surly staff
Good food, slow service
by sonkface at Citysearch
Nations serves up classic burgers and fries. Greasy, but flavorful. They have a nice selection of dessert pies. My fav is banana cream. Service is slow, so expect to wait at least 10 to 15 mins for your order. At least it's fresh.
- Pros: Good burger
- Cons: Slow Service
Bay Area restaurant chain serves fresh, cooked-to-order American classics hot off the grill.

In Short
Since 1952, diners have been enjoying this nostalgic restaurant's tradition of high-quality comfort food at affordable prices. While they are best known for their signature three-quarter-pound "giant" burger complete with a heaping pile of fixings, Nation's has expanded its menu over the years to include sandwiches, hot dogs, pies and hearty breakfast staples like omelets and pancakes. Health-conscious diners may opt for lower-fat choices like the chicken or salmon burger.
