Wunderbars Pet Hotel

My pets just stayed for the first time at Wunderbar and they had a great time. I am sooo glad my vet at Encinia told me about them. I was so impressed with the place and the compassion they have I noticed a frame on the countier with a pic of a westie that had been through so much and they let her stay free of charge what a wonderful gift to the westie rescue. But I was told by staff there that Mindy is always helping pets and when she can she helps the rescue groups in the area. That tells me they are real pet lovers.

Pros: LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PLACE

Cons: BOOK EARLY SOMETIMES HARD TO GET IN!!!!!!

I have been using them for the last 4 years. My German Shep. loves to stay there at Wunderbar's. When we come to pick him up he doesn't want to leave. The rooms are very large for him to run around and play in. He comes home in GREAT shape and very clean. I would highly recommend them to anybody. The staff takes great care of the pet and goes the extra mile for there care and comfort. The pets are never left alone. Staff members live on property!!! The office and kennels are VERY clean and well taken care of ; been to other kennels and Wunderbar's doesn't smell the others that I have been too.

Pros: GREAT Place!!

Cons: Book early...and I have to think about anything else.....NOPE Nothing else! Great PLACE!

I left my Boston terrier and my yellow lab there over the Christmas and New Year Holiday. They had such a GREAT time they didn't want to leave. I was told by friends to book early for the holidays. But I had know idea that I needed to book by August. So I was on a waiting list and I was so HAPPY when I got the call that they could take my dogs. I was going to cancel my trip after I looked at other places in my area. They just didn't look like Wunderbar's. They keep it so clean and you can tell they really love the animals. I was even told that they will house rescues for local groups and find them homes at no charge to the groups. That tells me they are real animal lovers. I will always book early so that my dogs can stay with Mindy and her staff.

Pros: It's a great place my pets love it! Staff knows pets by name not a #

Cons: Book early......b/c they only board a few pets..

Mindy and her crew ADORE the animals they take care of. My dogs -- who are joined with me at the hip -- have been reluctant on the first visit ("No, Mom, don't leave me!!!). On the second visit, by the time we were within a mile of Wunderbar's, the dogs were going nuts in the car! I guess they recognized the area. Once in the door, they didn't even stop to say "Bye, Mom!!!". They are obviously VERY comfortable there! I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! If Mindy doesn't have room, I cancel my trip!!! Your animals will LOVE it!!!

Pros: Peace of mind -- I KNOW my dogs will be well cared for!

Cons: Popularity -- You have to plan ahead; they are REALLY popular.

I toured many kennels in our area and theirs was sooo cute and very clean. The accomaditions were very large. My two labs just love it they get so excited when I drive up they run in and can't wait to check in. I was so glad they were with Mindy durning this last hot spell I didn't have to worry they were in the a/c and they even go the extra mile and have back up generators so they would never be without power I never make my trip reservations until I call the pet hotel to make sure they can take the kids I wouldn't want them to be anywhere else if they are full I stay home or plan a trip when they have room for the boys...

Pros: the service is great...

Cons: they are small as to how many dogs they care fore so you must book early.....

I have been using then for over 5 years and my pet has a great time. The staff is very profesional and my pet is very happy to check in. They keep the place really clean and run a very customer service facility. I am so glad that my vet tols me about them he bings his own pet there too....
