Do call him for insurance.. Twice I was threatened with losing homeowner's insurance and twice he personally came to the house, assessed the situation, advised me properly and went to bat for me, to get coverage. He also saved me a few hundred dollars in the process. I swear, I'd pay extra for him to represent me.
