The worst diner in San Ramon.
Don't bother with wasting precious calories here!
The food is badly made, is reheated to death or has then died a slow death under the broiler until the server (in this case a lady called Patricia) decides to serve you!
Both the Potato skins and the Crab cake appetiser were so disappointing that I left them uneaten.
The management did not offer to discount them, offer me a replacement or gift card!
Eat at your own risk!

Modern Diner Classic. Max's is a pleasant but not mind-blowing dining experience. If you're looking for a typical diner menu, this is a great place with piles of french fries and decent hamburgers. The deserts could tempt the saintly. If you're looking for lighter entrees don't be put off by the "diner" image. Max's has alternatives for almost everyone.
