Finally a Competent Contractor. I own a business in Marin County and for over four years I have called roofer after roofer to fix a roof leak that was driving me crazy. Last week when it rained again, I was referred to PetersenDean Roofing and Solar. I called them on Monday about noontime and they came out the next day and found and fixed the leak.

Next, they recommended a new white reflective roof coating to be sprayed over the existing roof for a fraction of the cost of a new roof. I purchased the coating and it was completed this past week.

It has now rained over five inches and the roof is water tight and I have a ten year guaranty against leaks. I should also save on my utility bills because the white roof will not absorb the suns rays so my customers will stay cooler in the summer months.

Next, I am getting a solar estimate from PetersenDean because that too should prove to save me even more money and it is a clean source of electricity.

I normally would not write a review on any business but PetersenDean, kicked some serious butt for me so I felt I owed them a great review.

We are pleased with PetersenDean. I must preface this first by stating that I attending business school with Mr. Petersen so I knew him before my wife and I looked into a new solar power system for our home. I did get bids from other firms and all were very close in price.

The fact that PetersenDean has been installing solar power systems for thirty years was a factor in our decision. In addition, we did visit about ten references where all solar power builders were being considered.

Being an engineer, I couldn't help but notice that PetersenDean's installations appeared to be installed with a flare towards perfect aesthetics. In other words the lines up and down were perfect and their past customers were pleased with the service PetersenDean had provided.

So we hired PetersenDean and they delivered on there promise to build the solar power system in one day and it looks and performs perfectly.

We are very happy with PetersenDean.

Friendly, Professional and Clean. Petersen-Dean installed a new Class A heavy shake wood roof for my partner and I this past week and it is a work of beauty. The cedar shake roof looks and smells wonderful. Our home is the envy of the neighborhood.

All of the workers from Petersen-Dean were friendly, courteous, professional and neat. They showed up everyday on time and it only took three days for the new roof to be completely installed.

They also installed a new sun-tunnel and we have a very nice and natural lighting in our hallway, which was dark for years.

We highly recommend Petersen-Dean Roofing and Solar.

I love my new roof. I live in the east bay and always wanted a mission tile roof. Everyone always told me that my current roofing structure would not handle the weight of the roof, so when I called Petersen-Dean they told me that there was a lightweight mission tile product available. So, I went out and got five bids and Petersen-Dean came in with the best references and best price so I bought the roof from them.

They tore the old shingle roof off and left everything clean, when they were done. They then installed the new plywood, then the black paper, the new rain gutters (which were free) and then (YES) my new terra cotta mission roof, which looks so good, I keep send photos to everyone I know and they love it too.

Petersen-Dean did a beautiful job and I think they are a great roofing company that takes the time to help clients make the right choice and then build new roofs of beauty.

Solar is the real deal. I installed a new roof top solar power system on my roof this past summer and Petersen-Dean did a very nice job. Ron Vincent (project manager) was on top of his game and his workers were too. If you go solar hire Petersen-dean and request Johnny as your foreman. He is hard working and does great work. Believe me, I am a picky homeowner and Johnny kept me happy the entire day. That's the other thing, Petersen-Dean installed my entire 4.3 KW in seven hours and it is perfect.

I have now received six utility bills since the install was done and before solar was installed my monthly bill was running about $300 per month. Now it is about $15 per month. Best investment I have ever made.

Trust me, Petersen-Dean was the best price and did an amazing job for me.
