The French Bakery, Lafayette, CA. We had a celebration for a friend in this cute restaurant. The wait staff was friendly, if not terribly efficient (they only filled one water glass each time around). The onion soup was delicious, as were our pastries. The four half sandwich sampler was fine but unremarkable and they were extremely tiny. At the prices charged for simple food - it came to $90 for 3 of us - the portions should be larger.

The French Bakery, Lafayette, CA. Recently I took my granddaughter, her Mom, Auntie, Two grandmothers to the teddy bear tea. My granddaughter is three and a half. Our seating time was eleven o'clock. It took until 11:30 a.m. to get our tea orders and 12:00 noon to receive our eats. Needless to say, waiting one hour to be served was much too long for a little one to wait for service. Noticing other tables, their wait was just as long. Even as an adult, one hour is much too long to be served. Once served, the tea and eats were very good. However, even though there is reserved seating times, the wait was much too long.
