Love my hair. Went to the salon after a friend told me about Anna and I was more than pleased. No one ever suggested creative highlights for me. Always the same, either highlights or lowlights same colors which varied a little each time but I was so tired of that. I came in and Anna suggested a bright red color and with a very different type of technique . I actually looked different when I left the salon this time, not like everyone else. She is very unique !

Anna is Great!. After my first visit to the salon, I'd have to day that I'd go back. Anna gave me a great cut & highlights.

The price list is a bit steep for some of the services, but a $45 cut (a good price by the way) is worth the drive to Castro Valley. Check out the price list before agreeing to other services beyond a cut & style.

best of the east bay. everything about the place was great, from getting my hair washed all the way to the blow dry. I didnt want to stop there, they also have manicures pedicures facials massage etc... The front desk was very nice not like some of the other snobby salons out there. Kathy, the front desk lady was great, I felt like everyone in there was like family, well at least thats how they treated everyone that walked in the door. I booked a haircut with Anna because of the reviews I've seen here on her and they were all so right. She did a wonderful job, my hair still looks good after I washed it and tried to style it myself. I think I found myself a new hairstylist.

you have to check it out. I came in because one of my friends recommended this place and she was right, they did a great job! I had my hair colored and cut and I loved it! They showed me step by step how to replicate the same look and told me what kind of products that would be good for my type of hair.Nice upscale salon, friendly people.

great salon!. Great salon! Great service, great people, great quality! I've had my hair colored and cut before, but never like this. I was so happy with my hair cut I will definitly recommend this salon to all my friends and will be going there for my next do!

Jennie Baria. Jennie is the best hairstylist! She is very creative and really listens to what I want and need for my hair. Also I enjoy the atmosphere at Stacy Monroes, A real gem in Castro Valley!

Great salon spa. Anything you want to make yourself feel fantastic is here. They have all the services from hair, skin, nails everything. The prices are very reasonable and they have lots of different stylist to cater to what you are looking for. Everyone is very nice and it has great atmosphere. Theres alway a fresh pot of coffee in the morning too. Best of all its right here in Hayward/ Castro valley. I dont need to drive a distance to get a good haircut and style.

I drive from sacramento to see Anna. Anna has cut my hair for 2 years now. I drove to San Jose ,where she was at before to see her from my home in Sacramento. Now she is in Castro valley. She is worth the hour and a half drive. My hair never looked as good as it does now. Her precision cutting skills are wonderful, she makes sure everything is exactly right, she is a perfectionist with what she does and Im staying with her. Great haircutter!

Anna is awesome. I have very thick curly hair and nobody has ever cut it like her. She flat ironed my hair to make it straight then cut it dry, it was perfect. Noone has ever cut my curly hair straight and dry . It worked and that was the best haircut I ever got. You should also see the way she texturizes hair she is amazing!

I love my hair!!!. I never thought that castro valley would have such an upscale salon. Beautiful and with a full service spa. I had my haircut by Anna and Im never going anywhere else. She is Vidal Sassoon trained from San Francisco and I dont have to drive to the city now to get professional cut. She listens and did exactly what I asked for. I really recommend her.
