Excellent! We'll definitely eat here again.. My wife and I drove over an hour to try this place for lunch because of the preceding review, and we were not disappointed. The salsas (one red, one green) are most definitely home-made and very tasty; my wife said they make really good Marguiritas; and between the two of us we tried their chili rejenos (sp?), chicken enchilada verde, and pork tamale---all three were delicious. We will go there again. We heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Authentic, cheap, fast, and best of all, DELICIOSO!!!. This is by far the best mexican food in Hayward and its surrounding area. The staff is super friendly, and the food is great.

The food is probably made ahead of time, since the staff brings over the food about 5 minutes after you order it, and the plate is super hot, but who cares! It's delicious! You can tell that the food is made from scratched, not like some other neighborhood restaurant who uses canned sauce and store bought salsa. (They have deleted my review since I was so truthful)

Speaking of salsa, it's homemade too. And the chips and salsa are free and bottomless, also unlike the same neighborhood restaurant who charges you for about 10 pieces of chips and 1 cup of below average store bought salsa.

Their burritos are huge, tasty, and moist. Enchiladas are great, so are the tacos.

I don't quite recall how the magaritas were, since it's been a long time since I ordered one, but I always see people drinking them, some folks even order a whole pitcher.

The decor is very lovely, full of paintings and nick-nacks. The female staff are usually dressed in traditional wear.

Don't know what else to say, you really have to go there at least once and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
