Great Dentist. This is Dr. Tanner, DDS. The reviews are not fair. I do not know who wrote them so I can not specifically address their concerns. It’s unfortunate, but people will say terrible things when they know no one will know who they are.

The person has two complaints. One is pain, and the other is their dental plan’s payment. The pain issue is most concerning and hurts me the most. It’s simply not true. I am an instructor at Heald College in their dental assisting program. I am the highest rated instructor by the students in Northern California. There is a waiting list to get into my classes. They know me, and know I am very good. They also know I take pain very seriously and strive to make patient experience as pleasant as possible.

The person’s second concern is that I am not willing to work with their dental plan. My sense is the person bought one of those dental plans off the internet. Typically, these plans do not reimburse the dental office for any dental services. It’s impossible to work with a dental plan that does not pay the dentist anything. The dentist should not responsible for the lack of payment from their dental plan. It’s like blaming the mail delivery person for your bills, and then complaining to the Post Office for not working with you to pay those bills. You can then see what most dentist charge for some of the most common dental procedures. You can decide for yourself.
