Try outs. A friend told me about this place so I went and tried it out. Didn't know what to expect. It was like a ok place, bar, food was decent. Wouldn't go back here again.

Not for everyone. All I can say is that if you're up for an experience (and not necessarily a good one) try the Funky Monkey. You may want to do it soon though. Serving under age minors and bar brawls and the excessive drunkeness of the patrons will probably be among a few of the many reasons this placed gets closed down. Since the change of ownership a couple of years ago, it has become the hot spot to avoid.

A large, gay East Bay dance club that's best on special club nights.. The Scene
This is the biggest of several gay clubs in the area. The bright lounge has an unintentionally kitschy Vegas vibe, with mirrored walls and flashing ceiling lights. Unfortunately, the lighting on the dance floor is less inspired and the sound system lacks the throb and bounce one might expect. Aside from special club nights, the usually small collection of male and female patrons makes the place look cavernous.

The Draw
From a booth high above the dance floor, DJs spin a mix of old and new dance hits most nights. Ongoing and special events include dance parties, amateur strip shows and male erotic reviews. A standard menu of beers and cocktails is served by friendly, attentive bartenders and drink specials vary throughout the week. There's a pool table and back smoking patio.
