I recommend the veggie tofu, its homemade made in house and the sauce that comes with it compliments it very very well. This place is very kid friendly and group friendly as well. If you want Korean food close to home Its the friendly neighborhood resturaunt.
Delicious Homestyle Korean.
I can't say enough about the service here. You feel like you're a welcomed guest at someone's house, and as the previous review stated, they are very helpful at making menu recommendations if you are unfamiliar with Korean dishes.
We were a party of four and went on a Sunday during lunch, and each of us had something different. One person had the tofu soup -- they cracked a raw egg and mixed it in the soup and it actually made it thicker, richer, and quite delicious!
I had the bulgoki which is covered in this spicy red stuff---- it is so delicious, yet SO PAINFUL, it is so hot! The waitress had to bring me a bowl of soup to "wash" some of the spice off with! Overall -- good service, good food -- good price.
Four Season Tofu House.
The place is actually called Four Season Tofu House. It is on the corner of Fremont & Blacow, more down Blacow than Fremont.
Food is spectacular, the service is good at making suggestions for Korean Food Newbies.
The portions are humungous. Hot pots are huge and the lunch specials are plenty big. Plenty of "freebie" side dishes they change up often to keep it interesting.
When I was there for lunch on a weekday, I was only 1 of 2 non-Koreans out of like 12-15 people inside, so you know it has the seal of approval from the Korean community.
