The first Togo's opened in 1968 near California's San Jose State University, serving simple, sizeable sandwiches. Today, the same freshly prepared subs are ordered at the counter where diners choose their bread and toppings. Cold options include the signature avocado and turkey with all-white breast meat, and the Italian--salami, capicolla, mortadella, provolone and cotto. Popular hot subs include the pastrami, piled high with mustard. Veggie sandwiches, soups and salads round out the menu.

Great place for food. Great place. Jeppers sounds like a ignoramus with his comments about this being East Indian ran. What does that have to do with anything?!

AVOID THIS TOGO'S. DO Not Waste your time or hard earned money at this TOGO's. They have 2 day old bread if not 3 days and put no meat on it like Subway. Ran by East Indians.. that tells you about all you really need to know. Drive A little and get more for you buck in union City/
