Great burgers and belive it or not amazing cake!. This little hole in the wall right off of san pablo is so yummy. Good old fashioned cheese burgers they make in front of you and amazing crispy onion rings. The staff is always friendly and the have the most amazing red velet cake ever!

Terrific Hamburger Spot in El Cerrito. Red Onion has outstanding burgers. Equally important, the staff will prepare everything as you request. I like my fries crispy. You can be sure they will be if I make that requiest One time they made a mistake. They immediately took the fries away and replaced them with what I wanted. This is a friendly, Latino spot that I can heartily recommend.

Best Burgers in the Bay!. The Red Onion on San Pablo is a hole-in-the-wall, tiny little diner. But from it's grill comes heavenly hamburgers, cheeseburgers from paradise, delicious grilled cheese, juicy chicken sandwiches, hearty ham and cheese, crispy BLT's and savory Veggie Burgers. That's it. Not a huge menu, but with burgers like theirs, who cares? They also make great pie, crispy fries and sweet onion rings. A 5 star burger without any attitude or pretention at all!

little spot...BIG BURGERS!. When you get tired of Jack-in-the-Box and Burger King, come here and find out what a really good burger is all about.

Under the roar of the Richmond line of BART sits this teeny little grill, featuring some mouth watering burgers. Whenever we go, we usually get both fries and onion rings since both are really good; the fries are crispy and golden, and the onion rings are the kind that don't separate (onion from coating) when you try to take a bite! Most excellent!

The shakes are good too, and come in your usual flavors AND pineapple.
