I have been going to Keely for almost 2 years, she was reccomended to me by a close friend. She is both personable and professional and her work is top notch! I have always left the salon completely satisfied. The icing on the cake... the entire staff at Maurice goes above and beyond when it comes to guest service! Continued success to all!!

Balayage Hilights. I went to Keely Coleman at Maurice Salon and had a wonderful experience. I wanted more natural looking highlights, kinda like the girls in the Victorias Secret Catalog. ( If i can't look like them I at least want their hair, haha) So I explained to Keely what I wanted and she said the best technique would be Balayage highlights. It's a newer way to do highlights so your hair looks natural, kind of like when you were a kid and got to be in the sun all summer. So she did the highlights and I love them. My hair looks so healthy and natural, its exactly what i wanted. the best part is with these kind of hilights I only have to go in every 3 months, cause they grow out without looking really harsh. I have gotten so many compliments and would reccomend this to anyone. Keely is amazing, so sweet and she actually listened to what I wanted. If you want the best color in town your have to go to Keely.

No Frizz. Maurice gave me the Brazilian keratine relaxer last month and it has changed my life. My hair is shiny, smooth, and easy to maintain. I live in the city and was amazed that it remained straight after walking blocks in the fog! The process was easy and so relaxing in his sophisticated salon. I'll be back in 6 months to look glamorous again!

Saved my hair. I have been highlighting my hair forever and never had a problem until I went to a hi-end salon in walnut creek where the color "specialist" literally fried the crown of my hair off and turned it orange! Maurice was recommended by a friend. I can't begin to tell you how fantastic he was. He met with me and explained exactly what would need to be done. He was very honest and sincere as well as compassionate about my experience with the other salon. He blocked out most of his day just for me. His professionalism is unparalleled! I cannot believe how much better my hair looks and feels! Though I know I have a long road ahead, I know that I am with the absolute best! I highly recommend him to anyone

Saved My Hair. I have been highlighting my hair for years and have had no problems until I was referred to a well known and very expensive salon in Walnut Creek that specializes in designating one section of their salon for color only, apparently operated by "expert" colorists. Unfortunately, after spending too many hours and too much money, I left with the crown of my hair completely fried and broken. Though the colorist did reimburse me, the damage had already been done and I was devestated, to say the least. At the recommendation of a friend, I made an appointment with Maurice for a consultation. She claimed he was the "best" and if anyone could help fix my hair, it would be him. I didn't have anything to lose (but more hair) so I went. I can't put into words how fanatastic the experience was. First of all, he greets you with such warmth and charm that you feel immediately at ease. Most importantly, however, Maurice really listened and was totally honest about how severe the problem was and what I would need to do to get my hair "back on track." It was as if he were a doctor and my hair was his patient. He examined it closely, made a game plan, and he booked me. After my first appointment with Maurice, I knew I was in the best hands possible. His level of expertise both with color and cutting is unparalleled, and his customer service is simply out of this world. My hair already looks and feels 1000% better. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking the ultimate in service and technique. Maurice, you're the best!

Smooth, silky straight hair. My friend referred me to Maurice because I was complaining about my curly hair. She suggested I get the Japanese straightening and I did. I look so glamorous! It's amazing. I no longer need to use a drier to dry my hair, I can get up and go and my hair dries straight. Maurice is such a charm and his salon is tranquil so the entire experience was pleasurable. Thank you Maurice for your excellent service, I'll be back for a haircut!

Best haircut/color experience ever!. From the moment you are greeted by Maurice at the door he makes you feel welcome and special - I thnk it is helped by his lovely French accent!. Then the magic starts. He truly is a great hairstylist. He took time to talk to me about my lifestyle, time schedule and then looked at all my features and advised me on the best cut and hair color for my face shape and coloring - he's the first person to notice the gold flecks in my eyes!....his cut and color were FANTASTIC. He also took the time to teach me how to dry and style my hair with the products and made me practice in front of him so I was doing it right! That has never happened to me. I also loved that even though he has an amazing Assistant in Kara, he took time to get to know me and did the drying, styling himself. I left feeling like a movie star!!!! Merci Maurice ----I'm yours until I'm old and grey (well only you'll know I am really grey) Hee Hee!

Great cuts and conversation!. I decided to try Maurice Salon de Coiffure after reading the reviews on Citysearch. I've tried other "stylists" in the past and walked away with butchered hair. Because of my prior experiences, I was nervous to say the least. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the results of my cut! Maurice really knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him and his assistant is very nice as well. There was no product sales pressure. I was simply educated on what products they were using and their purpose. I've finally found a stylist I can trust!

Glorious. Everything is glorious about Maurice's salon. My hair looks fantastic. The head massage shampoo by Jessica feels amazing. Maurice not only has mastered the art of hairdressing but has the charisma to match. I always book my next appt. before I leave because it's such a pleasure to relax and not only feel but look glorious (at least my hair does).

Luxury. Maurice's hair cuts are modern, stylish, and easy to manage. I love the color he uses because it's rich and doesn't damage my hair. His salon is beautiful, you feel as if you're in a day spa without the high price. He's so charming with that French accent and positive charisma. They always take that extra step to make me feel pampered and relaxed.
