Downtown Concord's hidden treasure. My late husband & I had been going to Luna for years because from our first time there (I don't remember how many years ago) we never had food or an experience that was not to our liking. It quickly became "our" special spot for romantic dinners for special occasions or just a dinner out when we needed/wanted to make it special. It has a very cozy somewhat homey feel and the food and service are consistently excellent whether you have a few favorites you like to stick with or want to try every new special they create. Food is always beautifully presented & delicious from appetizers to desserts & everything in between. You knew you were someone special to us if we treated you to Luna. Staff is personable, attentive & professional. I have yet to find its equal here in Concord.

The BEST Local Italian and the Best Service!!. The Seafood is awesome, the Hafid is the best waiter and you just couldn't ask for better service. He surprised me by remembering what we ordered the last two times. We have been there 4 times and each time has been a winner. Since it is so good we have decided to do my Mom's 78th birthday party there this week. We have tried the pasta ,seafood, caprese, salads and the dessert. All were fresh, beautifully prepared and flavorful. We spend a lot of time in North Beach, AKA little Italy and we know our Italian food-

3 times and all same bad food and slow service. 3 strk and you are out....

My third visit was same as last 2 times, Extra Slow service and same bad Food, no flavor and not recommended at all.

Athentic Italian. I have loved Italian food for many years. Luna is great for anyone who craves authentic Italian. The place is small, but don't be discouraged it is truly a gem. I have been visiting Luna's for years now, has been my best kept secret. The word is out and they deserve the praise. Visit and you will not be disappointed.

Best Italian Cuisine plus Phenomenal Service equals Return Visit!. I am writing this with plans to jet out the door for my third visit to Luna Ristorante in Concord. Abdel (the Chef/Owner) keeps it true to form when it comes to the intricacies of mastering a good sauce, then seasons with his own specific recipe beliefs in mind. I know this review reads like I am trying to write like a professional food critic, but the reason for that is Luna operatesunder the highest professional level of service, food, wine selection, and yes...clientele. Abdel's regular customers eat out often, and would swear by there experiences at Luna. Look for my after lunch update.

Perfect gnocchi! The sauce does not seperate when reheated the next day! Excellent!. My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night. We did not have reservations, but got seated right away. It is very small, but tastfully decorated, but the food was outstanding. I had the filet minon with a gorgonzola sauce and my boyfriend had the gnocchi with the same sauce. Here is the true test of a good Italian restaurant, the gnocchi was perfect, and the left-overs that my boyfriend brought home, when reheated, did not seperate into an oily mess that you can get from many other Italian restaurants with their sauces. We can not wait to go back. I would recommend making reservations though, we got there a bit earily and lucked out.

Excellent Italian. Salad, dinner and dessert were all excellent. Small, intimate setting. Best italian I've had in the area. Staff was attentive.

Small space adds Romantic Mood.. Ambiance perfect for that romantic dinner but also suited for a good business lunch.

Prices are competitive.

Food is very very good. I have eaten there several times already and the menu changes always bring pleasant and delectable suprises.

The tastes and textures are varied and paired excellently. The dish I remember the most is the pork medallions that had the suteed/steamed spinach with cranberries and nuts on the side.

warm and friendly trattoria. We loved this place though tables are close together-- this can be a plus or minus depending on who you sit next to. I'll be honest. I have had better food but this was still satisfying and WELL DONE! It hit the spot. That satisfying feeling we got from Luna was different from what you get from the "great" restaurants of the world. Luna appeals to your soul like when you're with family members that you actually have something in common with. Nice presentation of food and fresh ingredients consistently come out of Luna's kitchen. We had the best time chatting with our neighbors and closed down the restaurant.

Note: we probably will have our wedding rehearsal dinner-- can seat 40-80 guests and the room dividers can be easily moved.
