Great Food. We went to La Tapatia with friends and it was great. The food was great, the service was great and the price was right. Add in that it's 5 minutes from home and we will be going back often.

Authentic, first-class mexican food in a fun, clean environment. The best.. After years of going to whatever mexican restaurant that was convenient, we came across La Tapatia - they have a restaurant in Concord, and one in Martinez. Same owner, and same excellent food and service. Come for great chips & salsa or monster-good margaritas, and stay for the great food. I can't recommend one thing over another; the menu is diverse, consistently great, and I have been happy with everything I've ordered here. Great for kids, great for a date. Great if you just need to satisfy your craving for mexican. Give them a try.

Best mexican food ever!. This place was awesome! I could smell the food from a block away. When we walked in, I felt like we were in Mexico. There were mariachis playing guitar and singing and a waiter ran by me with a plate of sizzling fajitas. The waitress sat us down in the side room which was very beautiful. She said it was new so I felt very lucky to be seated there. We were served chips and salsa which came with free unlimited bean dip. I could have eaten just that all night! We ordered grande margaritas which were HUGE! I got the cheese enchiladas and my boyfriend ate the steak burrito with the red sauce on top. I think they called it ?famosa style? My boyfriend said it was the best burrito he?s had in a long time and he had to take the rest to go cause it was so big, which almost never happens with him. The service was good, everybody had a smile and looked like they wanted to be there. It was really busy but the food arrived promptly and was super hot like it was just made seconds before. I think that is always important. I will definitely be going back again.
