This place is good. I love the teriyaki beef and teriyaki chicken & beef combo. Tastes great with their spicy chicken hot sauce. SO delicious, I always saw it going to the movies but it didn't look that appealing. My friend told me she liked it so I went with my mom. The first time we went we got a to go order and it took forever to get it, it was packed hot and stuffy. But since we liked the food we returned, next two times I have gone I went really early, slightly after 11am (when they open) so we were seated in the empty restaurant and got really good service. Most likely if you eat a teriyaki plate alone you will be so full, if you share you will be about just right, just order an extra salad cuz they give you a tiny little salad but it has an amazing sesame seed dressing. I have not tried the sushi yet, but I plan to do so soon. Most people say if you call before most likely they won't have it ready, but if you are planning to go for lunch within the 11 hour, you can call when they open and it will be waiting for you, that happened to me and my friend when we called because we were on our school lunch break.

Don't Head To I Love Teriyaki -- They don't believe in customer service.. I will NEVER go back.

I have had customer service challenges with this location in the past (ex. food not being ready when I arrive after ordering 30 min. prior), but now I am done.

This weekend the manager treated me like I was stealing.

Long story short -- When I arrived my bill was higher than expected. The third party who ordered with me hadn't given me enough money. I paid my portion of the bill - IN CASH MIND YOU - asked if the third party's food could be removed. I was told no (somewhat understandable). Told the man I would be right back and he tried to threaten me.

"Now, Nikkie, I know your phone number." Continuing on to tell me not to skip out on the bill.

HELLO - I JUST GAVE YOU MY MONEY AND LEFT WITHOUT FOOD!!! I AM CLEARLY COMING BACK!!!

When I returned, I told him I didn't appreciate his threat and that I would not be returning. He attempted to argue with me (and LIE) about how I TOLD HIM I would not be returning. HELLO - YOU HAD MY MONEY! Of course I was returning. That and I said, "I will be right back."

Anyhow - I won't be returning. Their food is cool, but not worth poor service.

Look up others - sushi is all over Concord.
