Stay away from this hotel!. I read other people’s reviews and chose to stay there in July. The experience in the hotel was terrible, customer service was horrible. And there's no wifi signal in our room, not even in the lobby. We booked a king size room online and were given a queen size room upon arrival. The woman was cold and impatient when questioned about this, and gave us an I-DON'T-CARE look on her face. She's even reluctant to show up during conversation. The front desk phone rang several times but she wouldn't come out to pick them up, because we were in the front desk waiting for her answer. She looked at my order confirmation letter and said that the price we paid online were low, talking like she's already done us a great favor for giving us a night to stay here. But we paid for a king-size room, and had to stay in a queen-size with a feeling of humiliated. We didn't get what was promised, and obviously they don't care. The pillow was hard as stone, just like their customer service. The woman should be fired.

Marina-front lodgings on Alameda Island.. The Scene
This budget hotel is located on the waterfront overlooking the yacht harbor, with incredible views of the Bay and the Oakland Hills. The shoreline jogging and bike path is a short jaunt away and is a popular place for weekend recreation--both with locals and visitors. Those in the mood for more urbane excitements can take the ferry into San Francisco.

The Details
Sailboats and yachts not only cruise past. They cruise right in, ferrying guests who enjoy complimentary berthing privileges. Renovated in 2002, the standard hotel-style guest rooms offer a few nice customized touches, such as wicker furnishings and private waterfront balconies. Poolside rooms have their own decks. Continental breakfast is complimentary, as are local and toll calls, high-speed Internet access and HBO.
