Relaxed atmosphere, chocked full of local denizens willing to chat. There is a well maintained shuffleboard table, nice patio in the back, and at least a couple of witty bartenders. The jukebox, custom created by one of the bartenders, is easily the most eclectic selection of music in the bay area. The restaurant menu is a voluminous, shotgun affair that includes Italian, Mexican, and home-style cuisine. So if you and your friends can't agree on what to eat, or what kind of tunes you want to hear, this is a good pick.

Good food and lots of it. Spinach salad is exceptional. Good shrooms, onion rings, fries, sandwiches. Avoid the cole slaw (it's a bit strange).
