Can't beat the vibe!. The place looks refreshed and inviting but has not lost its local charm. As I read some of the other reviews I see that it is under new management and I'm so happy that someone has taken this place under their wing and is really taking care of this Alameda landmark. A REAL coffee house... independent. The real deal. Great coffee and snacks. Maybe there is a high turnover in staff, but they are all good. Coffee house like it SHOULD be... independent, simple, nice atmosphere, great place to hang out and read or chat with a friend. Love the place.…
