Look no further-- Toomie's has the Best Thai!!.
While there aren't many reviews for it here, just poke around the net and you'll find tons of people raving about this fantastic thai restaurant in Alameda. We go there at least twice a week, no exaggeration. We've tried the other Thai places in Alameda and this one wins hands down.
We've rarely had a medicore dish here but we definitely have some favorites: The thai egg rolls and shrimp wontons are so good you could make a meal out of them (I have). The cashew nut chicken, basil stir-fry, and panang curry are dishes we get nearly all the time. Also, the pad thai here really is the best we've had anywhere (everytime I order it elsewhere I am disappointed). Other good ones are the three-flavored fish (yummy!) and the spicy noodles (pad kee mao).
We've tried many other dishes but those are the ones that we can never get enough of. The only problem we've found is pulling ourselves away from our favorites in order to try anything else! The service is great and they make you feel like family. Be sure to try it-- but prepare yourself to be hooked!

The Best Pad Thai in the East Bay!.
This place has it all, mouth watering Pad Thai, fresh seafood dishes that will keep you coming back for more. Good for date night or before heading off to SF with a group of friends the menu has a wide array to choose from to please everyone. This is a great little secret place a true hidden treasure right here in Alameda! Sometimes a little wait on a busy night but well worth it and worth the drive if your not a local.

There are Better Thai Restaurants.
I found the dishes at Toomie's medioce. The pad thai came out and the noodles were over cooked to say the least. All I can say about the panang curry is that it was spicy and that was the only distinctive flavor. As for a Thai restraurant staple white rice, it arrived in an oversized metal serving bowl and was extremely mushy. The only dish that seemed to redeem the meal was the pad kee mao. In regards to the wait staff, they are friendly but could be more engaging and attentive.

Totally tops in Thai!!.
Discover this spot tucked into a busy block of Park St. in Alameda. It's well worth the challenge of finding a parking place. Everything we've eaten there was remarkably well prepared. Had a delicious halibut special I'd order every week if available! And try the mango desert ... outstanding. Service was quick, personal, and responsive.
