Avoid this store. After buying a pair of glasses there, I went in about a dozen times asking for them to do something because the glasses gave me headaches. They never corrected the problem. I never took to wearing these glasses because they hurt and the old glasses they were supposed to replace still helped (even though the Rx was no longer exactly right). Eventually another optomitrist discovered the lenses were improperly aligned in the frame and that is why the glasses gave me headaches. The other doctor also told me I had been sold expensive progressive lenses when much less expensive bifocals were better suited to my needs. I went back to Site for Sore Eyes, nicely pointing out their shoddy workmanship and asking them to replace the lenses with properly aligned lenses...i.e., do what I had paid them to do. They refused, saying I had waited to long to point out the mistake they made but never found or owned up to. Then they tried to sell me another pair of glasses for 30% off! I passed...rip me off once, shame on them. Letting them rip me off twice would have been shame on me.

Pros: Pleasant staff.

Cons: Crappy product...did not meet Rx.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for contacts or glasses. I went because I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money (limited vision coverage at work so I was a cash customer) and I wanted a place close to work. A month ago I got contacts for the first time and the doctor I saw there was efficient, but really helpful and receptive to my questions. She also did both the contact and glasses eye exam instead of making them two separate exams as I would have had to through my insurer at greater cost. The folks out front who walked me through the initial paperwork had a great attitude. The guy who showed me how to put in the lenses was incredibly patient and encouraging. Last week I went in to get new glasses to take advantage of a great deal (50% off one pair plus a second pair free). I was able to splurge and get nicer glasses than I expected with a couple extra features plus a back-up pair for what I was willing to spend on one pair. The only knock is the glasses took two days longer than estimated, but I had been told when I ordered them that the lens cutter was on vacation. (My contacts came exactly when they told me they would.) I was really impressed by their customer service on all of my visits - it's clearly important to the folks who work there. I'd definitely go back.

Pros: Service

Cons: Selection slightly limited b/c of size
