I called Glassco on the strength of the prior reviews. The owner is every bit as friendly and accommodating as the reviews suggest. He quoted me a great price ($225) to replace my cracked windshield (the result, I must confess, of a temper tantrum when my battery died for the third time in 2 weeks!) and was able to schedule the job right away. The work was done quickly and well, with no hassles or surprises. By the way, the shop has moved and taken a new name. It's now "GlassMaster" at 1174 Bryant (10th Street). The phone number is the same.

Living in SF, it's likely your car window will be broken. Went out to the car at 1pm, noticed the window was smashed, looked up auto glass on city search, found these guys, by 3:30 pm, my ford escape had a brand new window. Only cost 150$. Excellent service and attitude.
