Oyster Reef... interesting spot!. I can't judge the food from only one visit there - my dinner companions raved about it, I felt like it was mediocre. But the comfortable, casual environment plus the great live bands made it all worthwhile. Because of the music & location, I'll give it a 4, if it was only rated on food I'd have to give it a 2.5 only.

Keep the music and improve the food - its a great location.

Dockside restaurant serves up great views with a side of oysters.. In Short
Gazing out at sweeping views of the estuary while live jazz and the scent of fried fish waft through the air, it's easy to forget that Oyster Reef is moored steps from Highway 880. The romantic establishment is popular with over-30 yachters, who can keep an eye on their craft as they down titanic portions of cioppino or prime rib. Lunch is served until 3pm, and a full bar keeps sailors afloat into the night.
