We just wanted to say what a great job Jackie Richardson did on our patio cover. He was very professional from the beginning and a pleasure to deal with. He communicated with us throughout the project keeping us informed of each step. He was on time and worked extremely hard the entire time he was at our home. Mr. Richardson's work was excellent and we both felt that he was one of the best workers we have had the pleasure of working with. The results were fantastic and we are so happy with how great our patio cover turned out

California Homepro went above and beyond. California Homepro came out to our home to give us an estimate for a new sunroom we have been wanted to add to our home for some time now.

We were pleased to find that they were very helpful as we did not know about all the options and choices for sunrooms. They took the time to make sure we understood the differences of my options. This extra time they spent with us is why we chose California Homepro over the other contractors we interviewed for our project. Their level of service continued through to project completion and we couldn’t be more pleased with our new sunroom or with California Homepro.

New Brick Patio and Patio Cover. I just wanted to say thank you to Califronia Homepro for the wonderful job they did on our brick patio and patio cover. My husband and I explored the idea of buying the materials and putting in the patio oursleves. A coworker of mine referred me to talk to California Homepro before I started and I'm glad I did. Not only were they polite, prompt and professional, they made some suggestions that we would have never considered ourselves. We love our new patio and plan on calling California Homepro for our next project.

Thank you.. Just a short note to thank you for the terrific job you did on our kitchen remodeling. The quality and workmanship was excellent, and we ended up with a much more attractive space. Granted the job ended up being bigger than anticipated, the end result was well worth the added expense. Again, our great thanks to you and everyone else who worked on this job.

Great Job California Homepro. My husband and I are very pleased with our new roof. They came out very promptly and gave me a quote which I found very reasonable. The communication was excellent during the project and the costs were as expected. California Homepro arrived on time and completed the job within the allotted time. I was pleased that they went the extra mile to keep their job site clean and were mindful of my landscaping.

We are very impressed and satisfied with the job and will highly recommend their services to anyone.

Beware California HomePro. Where do I start. First these guys wanted way too much money up front. According to the Calif. Contractors State License Board, Contractors can only charge 10% or $1,000 for a down payment. These guys wanted over 10K!! The contract is supposed to be set up in progress payments, but before work even started they wanted thousands more.

They didn't start the job on time. Then they used subcontractors, but didn't supervise them. So they made lots of mistakes that I had to insist that they do over. The job was supposed to be completed within two months. A majority of the work they did do wasn't completed until almost 2 months after the contract end date.

They had laid pavers blocking water from going to drains I already had in the yard. The contract called for "drainage as needed." It started raining and my yard flooded, but they wouldn't honor the contract and stop the flooding.

The job wasn't even completed, but they demanded the final payment. Stupid me, I paid it and then they presented me with another bill!! I wouldn't pay and they refused to finish the job.

I insisted that they finish the work within 30 days. All I got was a letter from their attorney telling me to pay them more money.

They abandoned our project so I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (Oakland Office) and the Contractors State Licensing Board. Both these agencies took my complaints seriously and initiated investigations. These complaints are currently ongoing and I will amend my review in the near future (hopefully) to report the results.

I found out from one of Calif. HomePro's subcontractors that they hadn't paid him for my job and four others. He said they owed him thousands of dollars.

I've done plenty of business with all kinds of people just on a handshake and never had any kind of problem. Not so here.

Stay away from California HomePro!!!!!!
