Oaklands newest and best hair salon!. My husband and I love this beautiful place, the set up is very clean and has an ambiance about it! The hairstylist Betty does a wonderful job on my hair! They have wonderful Aveda products for both men and woman. My husband loves accompanying me because he can buy fresh arrangements for the house that are arranged beautifully by Shawn, Betty's husband. I'm so happy to have found this place!

I will always be loyal!. Betty has been my hair stylist since I moved to California. She was the first one whom I tried and I've never really been inclined to try any other hair stylist! Yes I'm mesmerized by the quality of her work.

Last time I had my hair done was a month and a half ago and it still looks like it was done yesterday. Not everybody can tame my hair! it's coarse, dark orange but she can manage to make it look beautiful light brown with dazzling highlights.

The One - Best hairdresser. I have been going to LaNana hair salon for so many years that I have stopped counting. Betty is a very talented hair-dresser. She understands what a person is looking for and can express it in a hair-cut or hair-color. I have wavy hair that has to be blow dried every week. I like her work and personality. She is warm, sensible and caring person. I have been to so many hair-dressers through-out the years, but in the end, I finally found the “One”.

A REAL GEM FOUND AFTER A LONG SEARCH!. When I moved to Berkeley from NYC several years ago I tried different hair salons but could not find a place I really liked. Then I met Betty, the owner of La Nana. I have been her client for years now. She is a great professional and really cares for her clients. She created a peaceful and classy salon where I feel at home. Her cuts and colors are beautiful. My hair is in good hands! Some of my friends and family now also go to La Nana. Betty treats everyone with great kindness and care. Do try La Nana. You will not be disappointed.

Best Haircut and Color in town!! =). Ive been a client of La Nana salon for years. And they recently opened a second salon in Oakland. Its an Avada color concept salon which means very good products and VERY WELL trained stylists.

They also sell beautiful, colorful flowers which is great. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my flowers or my hair done. =)

GREAT SALON!!!. I recently got my hair cut by a girl named Krislyn. She was sweet and did an amazing job on my hair. They use great products and also sell flowers which is awesome. I would recommend stopping in and checking it out.

Great flowers and wonderful hairdresser!. I have been a client of Betty's for over 10 years. She is very talented and is overall, a great hairdresser! I am so happy that she has combined her husband's existing flower shop with a second salon that's close to my house:) You should definitely check it out!

Would not trust my hair to anyone else!. I have long, dark hair, the kind that cascades down my back in gentle waves...and that's exactly how I like it. I've been going to Betty for over a decade now, after trying several other stylists in the Bay Area who always wanted to impose their will on my hair. Not Betty. Over the years, she has always done exactly what I've asked (even when it was a mistake on my part). She is great with color, long hair, and fantastic blow-outs. When I leave her chair, I walk down the street and get stared at more than usual by both men and women. I feel so sexy I usually stop and buy a bottle of wine just to get in the mood for...well, nothing and no one at the moment. But when that day comes, I'm making an appointment with Betty!
