In the heart of North Oakland next to the Piedmont Theater, Mercy Vintage's vaulted ceilings and stark white walls keep the focus squarely on the racks of vintage clothing. Vintage stores are commonly afflicted by overflowing racks bursting with hangers, but Mercy avoids this fate with expertly curated and highly organized pieces creating a lively, yet uncluttered space. Mercy Vintage focuses on pieces from the 20’s to the 80’s, with a strong penchant for the bolder fashions of the era, such as a gold trench coat from an 80’s Christian Dior collection. Vintage pieces commonly have slight imperfections from past lives, to which Mercy Vintage is no exception, but they are few and far between.
