Nice Dessert Bar.... I've been here twice. The fist time I had dinner and the experience was not great. The pizza, the mac and cheese, and even the salad lacked flavor.

Last night I came to Barceluna again. I sat at the bar and ordered dessert - and the place was PERFECT for this. They also have absinthe and a full bar with a good wine selection. The bartender was really cool, even when my internet date tipped $2 on a $40 bill. (Yeah, I went back and fixed it.) He was attentive, and didn't seem overwhelmed.

I also saw the chef come out and hand-deliver orders to the other customers - which I thought was cool.

I think I will go back and try the food again. It's definitely a 5-star atmosphere (dim lighting, fancy tapas style), and again...the dessert is really good.

Awesome Restaurant. This is a great place for a first date or family night. The decore is very calming, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is great. The night I went, there was a city hall mixer of some sort and the service was a bit off, but they were very apologetic about it. The lavendar cocktail is very girlie. The calamari appetizer was some of the best I've had. The palella was OK, but the chicken was out of this world. I will be returning to Barceluna.
