The Scene – This bland, three-story hotel is situated just outside the entrance to the Oakland International Airport. While it may be short on style, it offers comfort and a reliable assortment of amenities for business travelers and layover guests. – – The Details – Accommodations are furnished with voicemail, data ports and high-speed Internet access, as well as cable TV. One significant plus is that they have been soundproofed. Continental breakfast is complimentary. A large swimming pool and workout room are nice conveniences, but the best thing about this place is…

I have never had a worse experience at a hotel, and we are not picky. We checked in around 6 and left for a show at the nearby Oracle. The attendant suggested we take the free shuttle. After the show, the staff was called to pick us up. After over an hour- they realized they sent us to the wrong place. When we got there we asked to have our room key rekeyed because we lost one. When we went upstairs we walked in on another guest!!! On top of that when we went downstairs the staff manager was incredibly rude and did not care! He actually argued with me that it was not his fault! We got another room and there were only 3 sheets no comforter on the bed. Next door at exactly 3:00 and 5:00 am the vacant rooms around us had alarms that went off for at least an hour after we called down. The rooms were otherwise clean and we felt safe at hotel.
- Pros: available shuttle to bart and airport
- Cons: staff, rooms, booking, check-in, alarms next door

If you are looking for a hotel that offers easy access to everywhere in the bay then this is it. We flew in from San Diego on a friday. Stayed here and made it to the city for a party in 20 minutes. After a weekend of family we went to the Raider game and were on a plan by 8pm. The place is kept up and in expensive. close to the airport also.
- Pros: airport, bart, Raiders
