Excellent Portraits as well as Commercial Product shots. As an artist, I wanted some good photos of myself to use as the basis for a series of self portrait studies in oil -- rather than staring in a mirror and seeing that reverse image. Nick provided a great variety of portrait shots for me to use. It was clear that he had listened to my requirements. He provided a panoply of shots from many angles and with different lighting effects. He even lent me different shirts and sweaters to replace the uncomplimentary shirt that I wore to the session. He provided all the shots on CD so that I could work with them on my computer.

I was so pleased with the quality of the portrait photos that, a year later, I hired Lostracco to take some photos of client installations for my recycled wood business. Nick came to the customer's house in Oakland Hills and took dozens of photos of the recycled wood paneling and trim that had recently been installed. He provided me with comprehensive views of every nook and cranny where my recycled material was used. I have used those photos in my advertising and will soon put them online on my website. Great quality with lots of variety.

Great Headshot Photographer. I met Nick a few years ago when he attending one of my shows.

As this was a fund raiser he donated some photo sessions and also

extended a session to me.

Usually feeling insecure about my looks and not wanting to have photos done,

I decided to go ahead and utilize his services.

I could not have been more pleased, always wanting to have professional

head shots done, they turned out be a great asset in furthering my performance network.

He even does campaign photos. When I ran as a Green Party candidate for State Controller, Nick took photos of me for my printed materials. He took so many and had them ready so fast that it was amazing. Plus, he went the extra mile by attending an event to get some casuals. In one sequence of photos that I really liked, he worked with the graphic artist - back and forth many times via email - to combine parts of different photos, and get rid of some wavy lines on my suit jacket. The result was that my fundraising appeals were really appealing!

Best Family Photographer In The Bay Area. If you're looking for a photographer for family photo's or for a private party, Nick knows his stuff. Talk about personalize service and going beyond.....Nick not only took pictures of each of my guest in front of the Christmas tree with the hosts as they arrived, he personally framed each picture, wrapped them so I could hand them to my guest as departing gifts.

The pictures came out brilliant! He capture the mood and we now have lots of memories of our Christmas party. We were so impressed with his work, we had him take family pictures at the lake during the summer. Of course no surprise, the pictures were awesome!

Photography at its Best!. I have now used Lostracco Photograhy for several of my events from my proffessional photo for work to my childrens baptism and most recently a visit from there grandmother. It was so easy to work with Nick and he totally understands what you want and helps you acheive your vision for your special event. He takes the stress off of the clients in ensuring everything is going well. He is honest and has a wonderful sense of humor. Awesome Shots!. Lostracco took my bridal shots and they were FABULOUS! I had no idea that I could look so good. He is not only fun to work with, but incredibly creative. He brings out the best in people. A++. A wonderful find!

A true pro and artist. I had some work photos taken by Nick, and they were the best I've had in years. His angles, his lighting, his backdrops, his direction (for pose, expression), and his speed in taking the photos and providing proofs is truly amazing.

Nick's Work is Artistic.. Beautiful... I had been famous for being a non-photogenic person... For that reason I had to search for that Special Photographer who could bring out the good of me in print.. and who was just able to capture good moments to keep for life. I hired Nick first to take photos for my Business Cards.. For the first time I received complements on my Photo... After that Nick took over all of the photos for my Advertising and Marketing... For my business. It was a sucess.

I then asked Nick to help with the Family Weddings, Quinceaneras.. and all Special Events.. and His work

has always been Outstanding.... Nick is also easy going, accomodating, and very Professional.

PHOTOGRAPHER IS ASSET TO YOU WEDDING. Nick Lostracco was incredibly personable and his jovial yet unobtrusive presence added to the spirit of our wedding. He added to the fun of it all, and I felt quite comfortable and even comforted by his presence just before I walked down the aisle. My friends and family felt quit relaxed with him too. Now about the pictures. they are BEAUTIFUL and wonderfully composed. The candid shots are exceptional-he captured some very key moments. He also got shots of all of the specific people we listed. I highly recommend Nick Lostracco. He will always be a fond memory of our wedding day, and his work will bring us happiness for ever.

Takes absolutely amazing headshots too!. Nick is terrific to work with - adaptable, easygoing and professional to a T! Others have already extolled his ability to capture weddings, but I wanted to let people know he is also great at portrait photography and headshots for actors. I hired him to take professional headshots of 15 of my actor clients and every single one of them got a variety of pictures that were truly outstanding. So many of his shots were so great that the only complaint any of my clients had was their trouble choosing the best one! Literally over half of the pictures he took could have been used with no reservations or retouching necessary. Along with his ability to capture your best look, and the ease of working with him, he is amazingly reasonably priced. I would unhesitatingly recommend him the next time you have a need for ANY type of professional photography.
