Great Dining Across The Bay. This restaurant has had only a couple of reviews, all of them good. I found this place to be really good. Unigue and creative menu combined with great service. The bar is really beautiful and the overall atmosphere is great. I dined with several clients and we all agreed that this restaurant is a winner. I live far away but I will make an effort to come back and taste the rest of the menu.

Fantastic Eats in Downtown Oakland. Although not the greatest and liveliest neighborhood, the quality and class of this restaurant more than makes up for that. 2 work colleagues and I went for dinner and drinks late in May, and the service, the food and the unique drinks were all top notch...easily rivaling anything across the bay. The open kitchen also shows a trust and confidence in the chef and staff...highly recommended. I didn't give it 5 stars cause I don't give almost anything 5 stars.

Great atmosphere, Fantastic Friendly Service, Yummy Food. What a delight that we have another GREAT restaurant in Oakland. Every single person I came in contact with went over the top to make us feel welcome and provide excellent service. The host staff is AMAZING. It is such a rare combination to find a place that's cool (super hip environment), packed with people, AND everyone is nice! It really makes for an excellent experience. We had fantastic cocktails (great cocktail menu). Beet appie was out of this world. Fish is fresh and prepared perfectly. If you are looking for somewhere new to go, give this place a shot for sure.

The duo behind popular Mexican eateries Dona Tomas and Tacubaya prove that they can do American, too, at this Art Deco-styled restaurant. Oakland's hippest show up for 1920s-era cocktails at the sleek bar and munch seasonal, organic fare from local purveyors such as Niman Ranch and Marin Roots Farm. It's hard not to stay for desserts such as caramel pudding with seasalt, which are big enough to share--if you can part with even a spoonful.
