Excellent Food. Alameda has several good restaurants, but very few great restaurants. Dragon Rouge is one of the great ones! The rolls were divine. We had the sampler plater which is a great way to try several rolls at one sitting. The curry chicken, the garlic spinach, the Vietnamese crepe, the grilled shimp - all perfect. The green tea ice cream was a wonderful ending. It is a crowded, so expect to have your conversations overheard.

Subtle, classy, personable, fantastic drinks and food.. Dragon Rouge is one of the first restaurants to get a 5 rating from me. It far outshines old restaurant with dinasaurus reputations like che panise in Berkeley that have gone down a sink hole and live on old glory. Dragon Rouge is warm, intimate and borderline romantico. Jimmy the bartender, Jennifer the server, Scott and Mike are some of the main protagonists that make sure you enter and leave their space with absloute joy and warm feelings. All their drinks are sublime and subtle. All their food is scrumptous and delightful with every bite. I wish them the best of luck. Hope they always keep on their toes to bring such incredible service and quaff and nosh to the bay area. I think it is the blending of their service, nourishment and libations together that forms a great synergy to their warmly lit atmosphere.
