Best Hair Services in the East Bay!. Laura Pellaton (owner and hairstylist at Elixir Salon in El Cerrito) is an excellent hair stylist. She has just the right balance of listening to what you want, but also offering good suggestions if you need a little push. Her styles keep their shape for many weeks and are easy to care for. While at the salon, you never feel rushed and there is always a soothing tea and/or a relaxing head massage to make you feel wonderfully pampered.

Come and experience the magical scissors of Laura Pellaton!. I had my hair cut and colored at Elixir before my wedding and had a spectacular experience with Laura Pellaton.

Laura gave me an unforgettable haircut that looked red-carpet awesome (I've never gotten so many compliments!) It was easy for me to maintain and style.

I felt pampered and relaxed throughout my appointment. Laura is wonderful to talk to, and really listens to what you want, finding a haircut that matches your lifestyle and preferences. She also gives the most amazing head and neck massages!

If you have a dream-cut in mind for your hard-to-manage hair, or if you're just looking for a new style that's easy to maintain, Laura is up to the challenge!

Best Hair Salon- Anywhere- worth the drive anytime!. I can't say enough good things about Alex G. and Elixir! I had been going to a really high end SF salon and paying $$$ for cuts & color. I lost my hair twice to illness and was reluctant to switch stylists after 10+ years with the same person. Those previous cuts were mostly technically good but just not "me" -I usually had some "hair trauma" each time I left the salon- most often odd or uneven color. With Alex I look forward to each visit (close to 3 yrs now!)

I don't miss the lattes and designer kimonos or attitude of my former salon-and really appreciate the service at Elixir.

Alex actually LISTENS to you, unlike my previous experience where the stylists and then colorist had their own agenda- She nails it every time, cut, color & experience. She was amazingly patient with all my concerns & issues and gives honest feedback.

My ONLY reluctance to posting this review is it will make it even harder to see her!

I just wanted you to know that you can expect the same great service you have been receiving at the Hopkins St. location in El Cerrito.We are pleased to be located in El Cerrito during this time of revitalization in this city.
